EU+US Level 10 Rogue Gear

thanks for making this thread. i was confused at the vast amount of gear available and i accidentally made a worgen mage instead of a rogue out of confusion.

please make more guides

Elemental Force parses the highest on Meters during BG's yes, but nearly all Weapon Enchants have ICD's, some 45s or longer, meaning once it procs you can Weapon swap for another proc type. There is also the Utility factor like Icy Chill for slowing targets, Unholy to reduce other Melee's damage output, etc. Enchants for proc'd AP, Agility, Haste, etc are also valuable while your main Enchantment is either on CD or is currently up to "stack" procs for incredible burst damage. Mind you this involves great timing, macro setups, and certain Addons to show buffs/debuffs/timers.

Um... yeah. I guess I'm a lot more YOLO than this. I don't even use an addon to track my opponents' cooldowns. I don't see myself managing my procs that closely. Not that I am trying to downplay the importance of this info. It's solid advice even if I'm not hardcore enough to take advantage of it. So thank you. I think I'm going to get some extra hammers with at least Icy Chill on them so I can slow my targets before switching back to my main damage hammers.

You should make an enchant guide. The community would benefit from spreading this knowledge around.

Here is my guide on how to pack the most damage into your level 10 rogue twink as possible (tested):

According to Wowhead "of the Monkey" is 2 Agility 2 Stamina.

And tested how, Slice123? I was Assassination and found Combat was more damage. And why favor the Talon? Or the Defending Champion over the haste trinket?
Lupine cord is indeed +1 stamina +1 agility.

Fiestly, we tested the DPS of a haste set vs an agility set and found the agility set did about 5 DPS more on average. We then proceeded to test a large amount of WoD enchant combinations and found that all versatility and multi strike on 1 ring was the best. Finally, we tested Ambush with 2 heirloom daggers and then with 1 heirloom and a Talon of Vultros in the off-hand. The Talon did on average about 10% extra damage.

I believe it's reasonably widely accepted that Mutilate does the most damage.

The defending champion is extremely powerful as it has stamina (you may notice none of the rest of this build is dedicated to stamina so some is necessary) and also has a reasonable amount of versatility which is incredibly important for dealing damage and to reduce damage taken.

Again, tested how? On the target dummies in Theramore? Against mobs or other players? If so, what level? For myself because I am rarely fighting players who are less than twice my level I tend to prefer a lot of Crit since when I do get in a hit I want it to count. Any idea what's going on with the Talon? It doesn't have more stats and it's damage is given in the tooltip as being less than the heirlooms.

As for Mutilate, I think that's old news. I switched from Assassination to Combat because you know those few sweet seconds when you get in an Ambush on a target and you can pour damage on them with your buff from just being out of stealth and from the armor piercing? That's what fighting is like all the time in Combat. (Though I know some changes were recently patched in because I notice I am a bit nerfed so now maybe Combat is the old news.)

Also, I changed the list for the belt, thanks.

Tested on another 10 twink.

The Talon of Vultros has a lower attack speed and therefore hits harder.

I might test out combat but I'm reasonably sure assassination still comes out on top for sustained damage.

They nerfed all rogue specs, I used to essentially 1 shot 1.2k HP now it takes considerably longer.

Your mut hits with both weapons but takes the damage reduction from the offhand. Hardest hitting wep in MH. If Talon isn't a higher damage role then BoA then role loom over it. But I'm sure it is being it's a 2.0 speed
Heirloom has higher DPS and I think that might be why it is better in main-hand.
