Legit WoD Alpha patch notes are up

Among many things, while the patch notes are still alpha, they still confirm what blizz specifically plans to do with hit/expertise:

We still have to wait and see if they follow up on actually converting hit/expertise to different secondary stats (unlike "removing" resistances).

You can actually see it now!!

The WoD wowhead database is up and most hit/expertise items are updated.

Wowhead: There is no cow level.

The hit on pretty much everything is converted to crit. The only exceptions I've really come across so far are Hovel Diggers and Cobrahn's Grasp (both get haste). The expertise on Foreman's Gloves is also converted to haste.

The boa leather agil shoulders have crit now. The chest hasn't been updated yet. DPR is Stam/Crit/Haste.

Stats on gear are scaled down a bit through 1-60, but it doesn't have a huge effect at this level. A few items here and there lose 1 or 2 stat points (Eyepatch is 7/10/7, Drakewing Bands are 3 stam/5 crit, Ello's is 3 agil/4 stam/3 crit, RoP is 5 agil/3 crit). The squish was much more noticeable looking at 39 gear. I haven't looked too far beyond that yet.
 
I have to say, I'm quite impressed. I figured if the low level gear wasn't updated for Cata, then it wasn't going to be updated.

I don't know how going through the entire database and converting all the items compares to the Azeroth revision, but this project seems pretty large-scale to me.

Blizz gets some props from me, for sure. Prolly gonna have to give them some money lol.


Edit: ally druids are going to have some insane crit percentages lol.

We don't. It's just that many people are able to guesstimate in their heads that the bracket will end up slightly bulkier and more heal oriented.

Everything at this point is a guess. Very little, if anything, is confirmed.
But it is always nice to do a little of arguing based on useless nonconfirmed patch notes, that's they way F2P live :)
 
so apparently charged gears/ emissary cuffs will still keep their arcane resists. And 24 paladins/druids/shamans with those items will still get to enjoy resisting 15% counterspells( or 18-19% if they also have 5 all resist cloak enchant)

unique art..what is he implying by unique art?? As in unique item gfx. graphic when it is in the inventory??

What does the ''unique art'' have anything to do with actually removing resists and its mechanic?? Sigh...

I would not be too shocked to see cross faction battle grounds in the future. That would certainly lower the queue times in the lower brackets. The technology already exists for them to do it. That would be really nice if they did this.
