Atonement has been a thing for a long time. It was deemed too strong in MoP and got nerfed in WoD. So it seems that they're backtracking with a little twist. The problem with Atonement is that it doesn't come until later levels and knowing Blizzard, they will make disc a neutered spec at 20...

Honestly these class previews don't mean much for the twinking since we can't use most of the abilities anyways
Hopefully we can use more. Some classes could really use extra moves.

Holy only becomes "viable" because disc preferred healing style (shield spam) is getting nerfed. Also, we don't know anything about how abilities are going to be distributed across levels, so shadow won't necessarily be any better than it's now. All abilities seem to be the same.
Yeah, we can just have a look at how mistweaver's eminence is working right now.

If fire got inferno by 20 i'd be set 100%
This class preview series that blizz is doing is starting to look really nice, considering we don't know what we will have by 20. Either way each spec seems to be turning more viable since by tuning each specs individuality they also have to make it on level with other specs.
I can't wait for shaman changes tomorrow, im prolly going to piss my pants reading enhancement changes.

To sum it up: Protdins will no longer use holy power, HoR is going to have 2 charges and Judgment for retdins is going to have 12s cd and will no longer charge up holy power but instead it will increase the dmg for holy power generators(CS/HoR) by 30% for 6s
