since 5.4 we have been doing our own balance.
For example Rogues using level 3 white daggers from vendor.
We pretty much see every class now in arena. There is nothing I would consider OP with our new system.
Ret pally and Enh shammies hit pretty low, they might not be playable or only in certain comps. You could easily try some games and switch Prot and compare the results.

Now, this does sounds awesome. The idea of rogue with white dagger really rings nicely in my ears.
I'm inclined to give some effort to play. Again, i'm between Hunter, Mage and Lock.
Is there any lacking classes or anything you guys are looking for? I may also go for that.

The only class that would not be a good first choice is Warrior.
Hunter might be good since they are very quick to gear and dont need a BoA weapon like the Mage / Lock, but those are also great choices. If you have any alliance characters anywhere we also invite cross realm.
Right now we are trying Hunters as only Marksmen and no pet.

As a quick reminder, because this seems to be a problem cropping up - if you beat someone who is considered "very good" or "streams," please don't brag about how you farmed them or beat them. I say this because I hear people frequently mention that they "farmed" Wizkidone when in reality they beat him a few times because he took the time to play with two players who had never played arena before.
If you are the type of asshole that is doing this, know that what you are doing is ensuring that players of that caliber will only play with their friends to ensure their reputations are unsullied. In other words, you will probably lose a lot and become bitter and get mad at them for being "elitist" when in reality it was you that caused that reaction the whole time.

The arenas Korgath put on are remarkable, I have been getting in games pretty much every night. I play mage, so naturally I'm focused right off the bat, Im not as scared as hunters as I used to be 
and the people playing arenas are positive and helpful. I would greatly recommend people to come play. Kochi is awesome and has taught me a bunch, and wizkidone is a great player. I have payed against wiz and have had great matches. Hope to see a lot of new faces rolling up alongside and on the other side of the arena!
