Its mostly because (imo) that was our governments fault and I feel it should not have happened in the first place. We should clean up our mess but it still pisses me off. I support this because of why He is doing it, at least the Muslim radicalists are doing it for their Religion. We are not their because it is the right thing to do, but so Bush and those in power during the Cold war to cover their ass.

What you don't know, doesn't hurt. Now you heard about Kony. And people all around the globe are listening to this video (prob over 9 Million views today) and they're sharing, because they feel that this doesn't make any sense, that WE have to do something about it.
Do WE have to do something about it? Well that's up to how you think.
But personally, I think this way. I'm, with several other millions of people, in the luckiest of this planet. I was born with a roof over my head, foods in my fridge, went to school and live in a beautiful place. I was lucky. But where did that luck came from? From my ancestor. My parents worked they're ass off to offer us what we have. Their parents did the same and so goes the whole generations of french Canadian in Quebec.
Now people gather around Kony situation. Ask you to buy stuff to promote it. Like that made sense. 240$ for a bundle of posters. 30$ for two bracelets and some stickers?
Sounds lots of commercial in here.
Money isn't needed to make the message go through. Instead, we should donate to the military service around the globe. Are we? No.
I probably give around 200$ per year in charity. It's not that much, but I do it because I was lucky and can afford it. I'm still just a student, and my part-time job isn't extremely worthful, but yet, I have money in my pocket, a house to live in and a whole career in front of me. That's what I do. I cannot blame people who aren't donating. There's hundreds of reason for you to avoid donating, and it's COMPLETLY fine too.
Now, with this logic, to promote this message, we have to buy stuff. So, to an extended view, donate. The problem here, is that when you know only 1% of all the problem around the globe, when you know just 1% of it, you realize the crazy, MASSIVE, amount of place where you could donate.
Are we going to start donating to every single problem that we care about? That would make any single sense. Now it's Kony, after another one? And another one? And another one? And another one?

Lack of food
Disease (tons of them, TONS, from Aids to Heart-Attack to brain-disease, list goes on and on)

I could name millions of situation that would require donation to help. Literally.

Anyway. All of that to say, that if you want to donate to this do it. It's a sweet move, but remember, you don't have to pay for whatever they ask for, to spread the words. That just seems to be marketing. Funny enough, this as been going for years, and probably 99% of all viewers didn't knew about this situation. Means this could have been spoke about YEARS ago, but it wasn't.

Whether you care about the cause or agree with their methods is irrelevant. It would take our country all of one day to track down a man and stop him. Unfortunately this man isn't in control of nuclear weapons or oil otherwise our government would be all for it. Everyone has their right to an opinion, but reading some of these posts disgust me. It doesn't matter about the methods they are using or the publicity they can gain from it. Kony abducts children and either rapes them, puts a gun in their hand, or plainly murders them. To speak out against such a cause is to support his inhumane actions by default.

But that gives no one the right to speak out against someone who despite not having to do something is doing something no matter what their motives are. When you all go to bed tonight and sleep safely in your homes, I hope you all realize that another human being who just happened to be born into a different family as you will be woken not by an alarm clock or their parents, but by a murderous man who will make them wish they were dead. Then I want you to wake up and imagine finding out that your sibling, or your child, or someone else you care deeply for was that person who was abducted and that the only place you will ever see them again is in heaven.

Ifu watched the video you can see that one of the main persons in it is a "Kony soldier" and i doubt that he is the only one that wouldent shot a gun at the american army. Stopping Kony would also prevent furthur kidnapping and murder..

What we're saying is that, first of all, the way of propaganda is more then wrong it's just plain retarded and secondly there's millions of other causes that you could donate to, but don't give a shit about them because you don't know them. Now you learned about Kony, now the world want him down. But the fact that millions are dieing in lack of food all around the world or the thousands of sex-slave in russia, that you don't give a single damn.
