killing the bracket before its even alive

The free to play thing is stupid imho, id make a 24 to kill you all too. Lol. L2p a real bracket, and if you dont want to pay 14 dollars (i mean srsly) go to a fucken private server.

Its not about the damn money lol, just shows how stupid the ppl that roll 24 are

I know we want to get everyone on the same server, but right now if everyone made a pair of characters, one US and one EU, we could all just swap to the other if a load of 24s show up.

They want to follow, they have to pay for another account. And if they want BoAs, they'll have to level themselves another main XD

Having a limit on how high we gear give us one advantage.

I'd say get a horde and alliance made on AP-US first though, so we can play single faction wargames on either.

There are 24s on both US and EU. We have started to do wargames now on Aerie Peak US so ye, just go US.

At the moment I'm seeing 2 other players on horde, and 5 on alliance. You risk losing some people down the line if the balance gets much worse, and the people who put the time in to make horde characters can't get enough to field teams, or if they can, the alliance is so established and able to support each other gearing up, that horde have no chance to compete on even terms.

Faction imbalance could well kill off regular queues for F2P twinks, leaving you with no-one to fight on horde besides 24s and newbies. That's not as bad as what happened to EU 49s, but worth thinking about.

To help boost the numbers of characters available to play on horde side, how about a little rule along the lines of:

'Players who roll more than one character on the most represented faction, will not be able to choose which of those characters they play in war games, until they have an opposite faction character made that they are willing to play too.

Instead they will play the least represented/popular class they have.'

They'd still be free to join regular BGs on whatever they want, and roll alliance first if they want, but if people aren't willing to support the bracket as a whole by themselves, maybe a little encouragement is needed.

They may not be doing it to the same extent, but anyone making alliance only, because the gear is better/the faction is better represented, is thinking along the same lines as people making 24s.

What you do for an advantage now, may well have negative consequences later on.

33% of horde team is 24s.

0% of alliance is 24s.

At least in the last 5 games I've done.

Horde is steam rolling it.

That's the current update on things at least. Not much anyone can do vs. 2x 24 rogues and a 24 ret with 6 sec stun. Ret was 2nd in healing - and there was 4 healers in the BG... luls :)

I guess who ever predicted that people on P2P accounts rolling 24s would ruin it was right. Thank god we didn't pay money for this though, it's free quit ;)

Peace,

That's why I had that rule only affect war games. I know you want the most OP classes you can get if you have to face 24s. They are only rolling horde 24s because you're playing alliance F2Ps. If you made more horde you would:

-Reduce the proportion of Horde 24s among those queuing, by increasing the number of F2Ps there.

-Have more people on Horde who are unwilling to support the 24s playing with them.

-Have characters you can play that will not have so many 24s on the opposing team, at least not until they get around to rolling Alliance 24s.

Meanwhile keep an eye out for anyone you don't know who looks like they might be F2P, and who's not too newbie at the game. We need numbers to get frequent war games, and get out of the regular BGs that have the 24 problem. I'm sure newcomers would appreciate having people to play with that don't just insult them all the time, like a lot of the P2P people in dungeons are no doubt doing. We can make up for their experience there with our own, and their inexperience might make them a lot more willing to listen and learn than people who've been playing for ages, so would make better twinks.

What ignorance. Other brackets? You mean higher, right? Because 19 is a lower skill cap. Like I said there is no reason to pay monthly to twink. Name another game in which you pay monthly and get nothing new.

aww shiiiiet. i havnt seen any other horde 24s, anyone have armory links? maybe ill stop playing mine

I was in a game against 3 24 horde hunters yesterday. After getting stomped two games in a row guess what, alliance 24 hunters started showing up. Rolling 24s compounds the problem, I probably notice it more than anyone else since I play a rogue and can be seen from miles away by 24s.

This was from one of the games. Highlighted are 24s.

The rogue Bimmy just entered the game a few minutes before this screenshot. Still ended up in top 5 on kills though...

is the problem that they are level 24, or that they have BoAs and F2P accounts dont

Already got 3 BoAs on my F2P twink, so the problem really is that they are lvl 24.

For example, duel: 20 rogue against 24 rogue (24 rogue got vanish). Guess who wins when someone can reopen.

Personally I think it's fun when it's challenge than roflstomp them every game like before they came.

I'm not too worried. I've played XP-on 10-19s from level 10 on fresh realms before, straight out of questing (for sh**s and giggles).

The kind of people who get off on ganking others thanks to a huge advantage, are always crap players, because they never get challenged and have to improve.

You may get the highest KD ratio, damage or HKs, doing that, but it isn't you doing it, it's the gear.

This:

is down to the player.

So long as F2P players have some P2P friends to invite them into groups, so they can do War Games, they'll only need to enter regular BGs at off-peak times. At any other time it can be because they want to face 24s.

24s are just a hurdle to get over. They're only a problem if people are put off by them, and don't make enough F2Ps to avoid them.

If the stronger team is the one with the 24s, and they're doing it to farm the side with more F2Ps, then all I can say is 'lol'.

You roll Alliance for the better gear, and Horde end up outgearing you faster anyway XD
