Keybinds

By the time half of you people with 20+ remember which keybind you have I will have easily already clicked it and moved on to a next spell.. I can understand 5-15 as a F2P hunt but anything over 20 is overboard and would waste time trying to remember what's what imo but then again I'm just a clicker so I'm auto noob status

There's no thinking involved with keybinds. I could recite all of my characters abilities binds at the drop of a dime.

I was meaning for the people posting they have like 25+ binds on a F2P. Hunt's don't even have half that many spells and other classes rarely have a 4th of that. I can recite my binds also but I only have 14 and that's all I need. I just can't see where I could add 10+ other binds that I don't even use..

My personal ones are:

Caps- Dps set
Shift A- stealth target
c- serenity dust on target
shift c- serenity dust on focus
v- sting target
Shift g- intim
shift v- RoS target
shift b- RoS mouseover
g- trinket
shift g- agm
f- scatter mouseover
shift f- scatter focus
shift ` - mount
b- mend pet
Oh ya I have p-healing pot and j-sigh if those count lol..

(not sure if they count as binds but I don't personally) shift 1-5 - horde healer total
Ones I click: (dont count any of these as binds)
1- disengage
2- scatter
3- kill command
4- lifeblood
5- smeld
6- concussive
7- serpent
8/shift scroll- hunters mark
9- arcane
0- steady
I just couldn't see how I could add 10+ more binds

XZADRHCN and all modifiers. You have no pet micro macros. No growl macros. Find humans / stealth macro. Set focus macro. I could go on for days about things you should have.

Ya I do feel quite stupid as I looked back at that.. Lol can I say I was jk? I guess 25 binds aren't that much for a hunt since if I just bound 1-0 I'd have 24 but I still say that in this bracket in F2P bgs just 5 bindings would be enough to make you look like a good or great player.

Hey Lil, Chawa here.

I give you a friendly tip:

- Remove ALL your focus bindings
- Bind EVERY ability
- Play some games and LEARN them
- AFTER you are familiar with your binds, bind focus abilities.

disagree with removing the focus binds. i personally find it more difficult learning focus binds than normal binds, i.e facing your focus for scatter or w/e.

I still mess up my focus macros ever 3/10 times.

Which is why you only should focus bind if you already have learned the basics (binding all your abilities).

No you couldn't :p

Ty for being one of the people to try and help (I never claimed to know everything about this game or how to play) with bindings but it's not that I don't know how to bind it's just that honestly in this bracket I never needed to. It maybe cause I play hunt or it maybe cause the general skill of this bracket is just bad I honestly don't know but as soon as I respecced bm for this tourny I added 10 new binds and I haven't had a problem once with them.

My whole arguement was that 25+ binds were a bit overboard til I realized if I just bind my 1-0 I'd have 24 so I felt stupid. Thank you for trying to help though :)

at the end of the day its all about players personal play style, which i why i prefer everything i need keybound because its faster than click and more reliable.

You my prefer to click certain spells as thats how you've learnt to you use spells but majority of TI users do have everything bound thus why you get "stupid" replys to your clicking post.

I have 30+ binds and its still not enough for many classes lvl 90, but perfectly acceptable for low levels... I will say that for anyone not keybinding who 'manages just fine' without.... You are severely gimping your gameplay and not playing to your optimum capability.

as for Kahr able to recite all binds.... Sure.... Everyone should be able to tell you what spell is where on the keyboard. If you can't, you ain't doin it right!

You say it like learning new keybinds is difficult, when i want to learn a new keybind, i use that bind as my mount i.e everytime i want to mount i use that bind and so on.

Well, for Lil, it may be difficult, since he/she doesnt even has every ability bind.

Thats actually the reasoning behind doing the focus macros after you're done with everything else.
Using focus macros properly requires alot of awareness. If Lil still clicks like 10 abilities, there is no way he/she can keep track of everything whats happening.

Hope that helps.
