again, if you dont care about people using it, and you have one to use against someone using dls, what is the point of this thread?

The point is they are trying to start up the bracket, i think they want to make the new bracket as appealing as possible so more people will want to come transfer and join in the fun. And by appealing meaning balanced. i think this is a good thing to consider everyone want to have fun that's why we twink.



However i don't really think its necessary or it will fly, there are plenty of Dots to keep a rogue out of stealth. I know even with DLS i try to get a garrote or rupture on them ASAP. the only thing DLS will prevent is being able to vanish and get a cheap shot before the next dot tick...which is kinda hard, but satisfying. so yes i think DLS may subtract skill from a RvR fight, in that really good rogues can time ticks between a rupture or garrote tick...gets hard if they open with garrote and rupture you. so in short i think DLS will take away from skill, not that much though cause as most have already stated usually the opener wins even without DLS.



I own a DLS with weapon chain, and it has become a habit when i see a rogue to automatically equip it. I think you should try to make it balanced at first and as it grows eventually release the ban...or starting using it again. But i think must rogues have come accustomed to it and are going to use it. i guess you may just have to go case by case, if you see a DLS you use it...but as the saying goes an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind hahaha. i think its unavoidable...one person uses it everyone will use it.



However you stated your realm was pretty good at following restrictions if you can upkeep the ban by all means go for it. I also think that this one weapon will not detract from the appeal of twinking at 39 its an old proc that everyone is use to and has there own way of dealing with it. i know 30 seconds is a bitch but just got to live with it.



I think the only place you should really try to enforce it is during a duel...i think duels are way more fun if you can pull off vanish cheap shots. If anything the thing that frustrates me the most is locks running around and dotting everything up hahaha

I'm sure finding the Gear-Nazism fun and appealing.
 
As I read it, the suggestion of gear restrictions to balance the bracket more, was left without a major vote for yes, therefore there's no gear restrictions. If the talk about this made you not want to go 39, then you probably don't love the bracket enough anyways.

I'm getn kinda sick of writing this, but the discussion was going to be made some time, and we chose to have it before "launching" the resurrection of EU 39. Much like this thread with is about rogues talking together about the usage of DL in arena.

Except for this discussion I only got positive responses from EU rogues. Again, its a suggestion, we co mu ni ca te now to avoid r a g e later.



Got a 39 rogue in EU and want to be heard? Then just write what you think! Its a DISCUSSION after all.

Cus of infinite trollers, it would be nice if you included armory (oh ppl gonna haaate that I said that)
