Just wanted to say that BOA's or no BOA's, Dazzling longsward is still a no-go

Im not for using DLS (did never use it on my rogue and was never gonna try find and buy one). In arena, I think people should try not sure it in arena and duels since you never know when people gonna stop queue agains you and might never wanna go a arena/duel against you again. Having respect for other people in the bracket and make it more fair play is good, but I reconsider'd and banning a item/items is hard and its probably not gonna make that much diffrence, maybe even the opposit effect. I think we should try play without DSL, boas, agm but we cant ban any of those items since we cant really remove the items or ban anyone ingame. I also wrote this many pages ago (but in other words), like on 3rd page or something.

If you have arranged arenas , then yeah you can agree with your opponents to not use a DLS. I would be completely fine with that. (Speaking as a US player of course, I can't speak for the general EU population, but it seems none are really speaking up)

The whole "No BoA, no AGM" thing will def not work though, and is going to drive players away. Sorry I know that's not what the thread is about, but there are far too many threads to sift through and I see its main supporter posting in this one now.

I think you should more describe it as a guideline of not using DLS. You simply cannot enforce a non-usage of this sword.

I myself play(ed) a 39 druid before 3.2 and FF is idd a rogue killer. They are left in the open field, susceptible to rooting.

There are many gimmicky items you could debate. Tidal Charm is one of them too. You basically give some classes something they do not have as an ability.

In my case as a druid, I can slap my keyboard that when I finally got away from said rogue/warr/paladin, only to eat another stun that nullifies my actions (weird sentence I know).

Same happens with bandages that tick for such high amounts, which leaves me wondering why I should even bother to use HT for example. (a bit off topic but w/e)

So as for DLS: I'd state some sort of general guideline (like in Pirates of The Caribbean ^^).

Just my point of view.

Not to be rude, but that's exactly what were doing.

Thanks for supporting it:)

My 39 twink rogue is decked out R v R.

Stealth increased cloak, Stealth Increased trinket, stealth increase talents

Cateye goggles for increased stealth detection, stealth detection increased from talents

Two Dazzling Longswords

Stunlock spec.

Never lost against a rogue. Honestly Dazzling longsword is worth it, it also has the 2nd highest dps for weapons. IMO worth it.

Yeah I guess if you suck, that would be the only way you'd win.

Have the guts to link your rogue?

Ps, thats like saying

"My 80 is Decked out in pvp gear.

Bla bla bla bla

Bla bla bla

2 Gladiator weps

Stunlock spec

Never died in STV, I just did the quests there at 80. Honestly its worth it."

Ah, your gear only works for killing rogues in 1v1 duels. This thread is about arena

Congratulations on creating a none dagger based ambush BOA rogue that dies in a stunlock.

Your gear shows you have no idea about what is good for either arena or duels. You're the guy who bashes up 1200hp none twink mages.

Well done on dropping a point in elusiveness - you've just lost every duel against a good rogue. Glyph of Vanish is also good. NICE HERBALISM BRO.

I can see why you need DLS.

You wouldn't beat me 1v1. Promise.

Lol okay ego-boi. I posted my rogue as a request, not to show off.

:)

Aaaaaanyways to wrap it all up...just agree before planned arenas that you and other rogues will not use DLS. Most people will agree to that, and if there's a few baddies that wont play fair, just equip yours and hope for the best. As for random/unplanned queues, I'd just run with it in my bags, just in case, and if someone feels slighted by losing to an RNG proc, you can take it to the forums and agree on having a few rematches without DLS. Best of luck to you in getting the bracket up and running. Just relax on making rules in a bracket that doesn't exist yet, and put forth your efforts into recruiting and stirring up interest instead.

All these arguements about what should and should not be allowed is starting to put me off coming back. why can't people just play the game, intead of the gear-nazi's telling them how they should play.

I thought the whole point of bringing 39s back was to have fun in a fun bracket, win or lose. Who gives a flying fuck about what gear people have.

stfu with your dumb little r v r arguments...they are pointless (every1 knows the only real rvr is lvl 19!) just make ur guild/twinks and start playing!

Who's having dumb arguments. The discussion was finished until you brought it up again with your... dumb... arguments. so STFU and lvl your warrior.
