EU+US Item Level 58 on a level 1

Tried to max my ilvl and reached 58. Do you think it's possible to get higher?

Too bad level 1s won't be able to join battlegrounds in Legion

Special items used:

Bottled Tornado (ilvl 400)
Mist-Piercing Goggles (ilvl 90)
Problem Solving Pendant (ilvl 80)
Stratholme Lily (ilvl 70)
Insignia of the Alliance (ilvl 60)
The Rock (ilvl 60)
Haliscan Pantaloons (ilvl 35)
Sin'dorei Cloak of Warding (ilvl 20)

I know, that's why I wanted to get as high item level as possible before Legion is released Guess it will be harder that due to the toy transformation, and since a level 1 can't join instanced PVP the ilvl gear will be as useless as it is today for level 1 twinks.

I guess so. And then the toy itself (the use) will be in your toy book. I have to mention that it is not confirmed that Bottled Tornado will turn into a toy or not. Due to the Legion db on wowhead, it will continue to be a ilvl 400 trinket, but without it's use.

Well, I wouldn't call myself a "banker" since all I do is collecting gear, playing PVE (killing high(er) level rares and elites) and playing PVP (duels).

high ilevel is useless on a level 1 since you cant enter bgs until level 10

Item level wont matter for a level one, all the changes relating to item level are soley related to instanced pvp

the fishing trink from strangle thorn fishing even is ilvl 65 and u can dual equip them

I'm fully aware of that. That's why I wrote it's too bad I won't be able to join bgs. But it was a fun challenge to see how high I could get. As most of level 1 twinking, it is all about pushing the boundaries

You can get higher btw, Hook of the Master Angler. There's also higher lvl tabards with the cata tabards, but they dont count towards your ilvl on the stat pane. Maybe other things but idk cba to check for lvl 1

Unfortunately, you can't learn fishing before level 5, so it's impossible to get that trinket.

Tabards do not count, it's already been checked in Beta. Hunter is the worst of all Classes to iLvL stack due to requiring a Ranged Weapon (Bow, XBow, Gun) in order to do any damage other than the Pet. That plus the Bottled Tornado issue means your iLvL is vastly lower than 58.

I really hope they either lower the ilvl of random white vendor gear, or make it so only gear of uncommon quality or higher will count towards your ilvl

How well does a Hunter stack up these days with the removal of Arcane Shot from lvl 1. I'm sure it's a huge difference in effectiveness?

Arcane Shot hasn't been removed. What do you mean?

And if it's going to be removed, Arcane Shot stands for 30% of my damage, which is 70% of my total damage (pet does 30% of the damage). So the difference will be about 20% in damage loss, but I'm pretty sure Blizzard will let us start with a different ability in that case.

Checked Wowheads Legion database and found that Arcane Shot seems to be removed from there, but Marked Shot seems to be a level 1 ability. If that's the replacement ability, it will improve the damage. 225% Physical Damage instead of Arcane Shot's 125%.

Really? I'll have to look. I thought they removed it and replaced it with the shot that replaces your focus.
