you simply dont get it, many ppl are staying next to each other, so focus target kicks are way faster than target the other person, kick and go back to your original target. all i wanted to say is: rogues dont have infight CC at this level so dont act like youre a genius because you sap random people or kick ppl who dont even fakecast, its a class for retards at this level which will prolly never change

I have a feeling we´re talking about mouseover kick and not focus kick here?!
You all debate switching targets, "mass" cc and fast target reaching so if u dont have by any means some mouseover focus applying which would be funny to watch and rather be nonsense since it would always change I´d go with mouseover :)
Or if u rly mean focus kick then l2mouseover kick.

Mouseover kick sounds extremely retarded, unless all your enemies stand in one place at all times. Applying focus with mouseover and then using focus kick is a lot more reliable, and if you're smart, you have healer as focus target before you even open.

With mouseover kick you have to first stop moving (assuming you're mouseturning, which you should be) or switch to use of keyboard for movement. Then you have to move mouse over your kick target and pray to god that nobody runs on your target as you kick (which obviously wastes your kick if you accidentally kick the wrong guy).

With focus kick you can keep moving with mouse nearly always, and it eliminates the chance of kicking the wrong target. Of course there are moments where mouseover can be more handy, for example if you're 100% sure you won't misskick and you don't have the guy on focus. There's a simple solution for this: have a macro for BOTH mouseover kick and mouseover focus + focus kick, and use the one that fits the situation best.

But if you have to choose only 1 way (idk why but ya xd), definitely go focus kick for enhanced mobility and reliability.

I am not talking about me here (but yes I turn with mouse and can also strafe for mouseover). The discussion was about cc more than 1 person and u prob cant do that with just 1 focus (reapply with mouseover and/or click in half a second?). Nevertheless these 2 options don´t interfere like u wrote so u can still mouseover everything while casting on your focus. Not that the usual Rogue-Actionbar is fully loaded...
Also mouseover is a way to improvise spontaneously while focus casting like said before kinda binds you on your focus.

And in the end u all can babble about rogue skill and focus and whatnot a rogue should do but as long as I dont see anything of it in the Gulch nor Rogues who cant even wait for one lousy fakecast and just rely on their 1k opener this discussion is getting nowhere.
