i played then...Warsong Outriders was official. my main twink was on Wildhammer Horde US in a guild called Twinkers Republic --- pretty competitive back in the day, way before BoA's -- when Talbar Mantle was the ill nana twink piece. And you couldnt lock your xp, so you had 1 shot to get everything right

wow... somehow found this site again after 3 years and decided to check it out. Made me really miss the good old days of the 10-19 and 30-39 bracket. I played by the alias "Perplex" as a rogue and hunter in the 10-19 bracket on Suramar (cyclone battlegroup) and Perplex/Perplexing (39 rogue and hunter) who I eventually faction changed and played in <Pro> on Jaedenar.

Those were really fun times, it's sad that they're gone forever now. If anyone remembers me, say what's up! I know Shiz (the OP) was in my guild Suramar's Finest back in 2008 and 2009.
 
Perplexing, I remember you - this is Dorigenne from <Pro>.. played a 39 fire mage named Shlauwbax on Cyclone too. I remember you getting a lot of hate on your hunter, lol.
 
oh damn Shlau whats up! I remember that name. Yeah I remember talking a lot of shit to people back in those days, definitely had a good amount of haters. I was only like fourteen or fifteen, I look back on some of my old posts and cringe so hard now.

edit: Shlau do you know what happened to Pro and the 39 twinking scene in general? I assume it's dead but just wondering how it all ended. Those were really fun times in my life.

<Pro> has been dead for years. Brumble gave me guild lead and quit, and he hasn't been seen for years either. The 39s bracket died shortly after Cata came out, got too bursty. More recently it's come back, getting pops a couple nights a week.

Damn that's a shame, brumble was a cool dude. I have a lot of free time nowadays so i've considered coming back just to check everything out. I think i'm going to level a 19 up since that seems like the most active bracket and then possibly move to 39's from there. thanks for answering my questions

Yea, 19s are pretty active. The 20-24 bracket is WAY more active tho, but most games are total shit. It is like twinking was back in BC before exp-off, with really ungeared players and the occasional twink.

Haha ahhh of course how I could I forget the infamous pizza hut. The biggest names I remember from that time were you, Mythos, Jutsu, and all my guildmembers in Legion of Warsong/Suramar's Finest. I remember you kiting and killing me and my friends from school for like 10 minutes around the horde base in WSG and I would get so frustrated haha. I remember getting destroyed 1v1 in nagrand by mythos and then practicing my dueling everyday after school outside stormwind until I started taking games off of him and making a bit of a name for myself. Gettin real nostalgic over here lol

oh and I remember all the perenolde people too. I think their guild was <Tastes Good>. Belome was the priest and I can't remember the hunter's name. They were both good though, learned a lot about FC'ing from them
