I mean if you're going to fully deck out a 24 / 25 farmer bot with gear any class is viable lol.. melee's are just useless when group farming as they have no spam able ranged damage to pull with.

The AOE people in your farm group should not be doing much pulling. If your farm group has no AOE or is using stationary pullers, I feel for your farms.

eh idk how you guys farm on NA but it sure sounds you're doing it differently than what we were on eu a couple months back, explain to me whats better than having 3-5 mages in a group pulling with barages and killing with arcane explosions? even better if u have 2x frost mages pulling with ice lances and a 60 bm monk with statue afk killing with rushing jade wind

Now that sounds like a plan - except I'd have to pull with a DoT class ( Warlock / SP ) - Have a Monk 45 I could re-spec to BM. Thinking ....... but not too hard

In case anyone playing lvl25 shaman (I don't) there is the archeo 3 sockets First Shaman helm that you can gem with 5int/6stam .. All your other higher lvl can farm the Black Mora heroic gem and socket it cos it's BOA

Blood DK is not the strongest single target.... but oh man is it able to make nice perfect piles and can handle huge pulls.

Tons of ways to pull/tag mobs, really low effort required, barely pay attention when farming.

Where I find where are that good farm spots? I am newbie so, from this thread it seem druid, monk of warrior is best choice for farming 28 ilevel EQ, so if farming on 24 or 25, is still 28ilevel but the diferencies are only in level required?

Plenty of guides for the best farming spots - a level 25 gets level 19 Required iLevel 28 drops.

Zones with Demon Invasions are always good due to the fast re-spawns - The area on top of Black Rook Hold* is great for instant spawns. Got 2 +7 Relics and a couple of nice i28 Greens ( plus the usual non socketed gear ) in 2 - 3 hours farming last night on 25

Garrrghh!! where were you 10 hours ago!! i wandered all over lookging for a good spot for that invasion.

Finally just gave up and decided to wait for another. I'll try that one next time it's in val tho.

Still trying to find a hyperspawn in aszuna, level 50+ BM monk and a few 25 farming with a statue is just the best I've tried by far.

As the boomkin bots at the murloc beach might've been banned (and thus my stationary go-to spot doesn't spawn fast enough anymore...I have to circle the whole beach and it's a drag looting).

At Shackle's Den flight point, then little bit south at the Temple of a Thousand Lights. Farmed last night with two groups, and today farming just my 50 + 24. I make a much smaller circle around the area and the respawns are very fast. And confirmed got a +7 storm relic on the level 24 just now. 30 minutes in and got an ilvl 28 bracer with socket and a useless level 25 epic Fran's Intractable Loop +6 stamina, +26 haste ring :\

Lol ya i had my first ilvl 28-farm epic drop today too, dont even remember what it was except of course level 25...

I got my frost relic out of aszuna and ran. I'll go back during an invasion and look for something decent.

2) I have 2 accounts, what is the best way to go - High lvl bm monk+24 toon, or 24+24?

Cuz a 50 cant get overwhelmed and will kill everything faster when the pace allows... especially if you're only using two.

If you're alone with 2 accounts then 50 bm+24. Even thought you feel like you're losing drops, you're getting more kills.

IF... you're in a good hyperspawn spot. If you're just running amok killing random mobs then 24+24 for sure.

(edit- if you dont have a monk at or near 50 then it's not completely necessary, just really easy farming if you use one)

Ty for clarification! Can you share some "right" hyperspawn spots from your own experience (might be in dms)? Since the statue has 20yd range, i don't remember a place that perfectly fits...

I have read through several different posts on the forums regarding relic farming on a higher-level character, which zones drop which specific relics etc, and there are some very good details posted! I am getting ready to level a farming toon (all of my characters are lvl 50 except for my twink hunter who is locked at 20). I wanted to check and see if I could get some some input as to:

1. Is lvl 24 the absolute highest I should level a relic-farming toon, or is 25/26 safe before the BOE relic can no longer work for my lvl 20?

2. Which class is considered best for farming these with?

best class = 1 that has spammable AoE (specific class/specs are up to playstyle/preference)

examples:
arcane mage = spam arcane explosion
bm monk = spam spinning crane kick (many other benefits to playing BM monk actually, it's the R1 farmer IMO)

I just got my 2nd Warrior to 25 late last night and have basically full Looms. I'm already seeing how this will be crazy good for AOE Farming once well geared.
