I want to make a 25 twink to farm for 20 twinks. Which Class?

This 25 twink is gonna collect greens while questing, and send them to my 20's. I want something that can run around killing stuff with no downtime, and good kill speed. It should also be able to solo dungeons.

I plan on it being a Blood Elf, so I can disenchant soulbound items. Any Suggestions?

I feel like you might be underestimating the time it takes to farm a decent amount of good BoE's if you're planning to do it 'while questing'

For open world farms Guardian druid is extremely good, or Arcane mage if you're doing something where you can sit and spam arcane explosion all day

Also chiming in on the "good" BoE's (assuming you mean having a socket) and the amount of time to obtain. I've spent the past week farming hyper spawn mobs on a level 50 DK with an idle level 24 toon. Around 20 hours so far, and non-stop mowing down mobs. Have gotten hundreds of ilvl 28 greens, but ones with a socket are rare. Haven't gotten a single neck, cloak, or ring with a socket. Only one trinket with a socket.

I suspect one will do better with more level 24/25's in the party for increased chances.

Edit: opened 35 lockboxes and a cloak with socket was in one. This is addicting trying to get a socketed green and +7 BoE relic hits...

Was gonna say, I haven't gotten the rings or neck I'd prefer, but I've had pretty good luck farming. Just make sure to switch zones to get different rings/trinks as they're unique.

I use Highmountain/Stormheim typically, though I do like the spot in Val'Sharah as well

For Group farming, I go Frost and use the above. (Ice Lance is great for tagging/pulling mobs and with high Haste your GCD is super short. Blizzard for AoE as needed, but usually when you're in a group you have plenty of AoE damage anyway so focusing on quick tags/pulls is key.)

For Solo farming, I go Arcane and swap the trinkets to https://www.wowhead.com/item=152634/endless-tincture-of-renewed-combat?bonus=6849 and https://www.wowhead.com/item=42992/discerning-eye-of-the-beast . You'll have to run around a bit more since Arcane doesn't have Ice Lance for tagging, but Arcane Explosion spam will kill things fast enough to keep your HP topped off, and only have to stop for a Mana drink every now and then.

Also, I'd recommend staying at level 24, not 25. You lose a talent but the mobs scale to lower HP. And if you ever wanted to make a 19 twink (for whatever reason) you could use the same gear you'd be farming for your 20, since the i28s you get as a level 24 have a 19 req as opposed to 20 req with a level 25 farmer).

Yeah, the grind for socket jewelry (neck & rings) is brutal. Probably going to take half the expansion of casual farming to get a full set for most folks

I like arcane mages for the simplicity of arcane explosion. Makes it less taxing when you are spending a lot of time doing farms.

You can craft some very passable socket gear with mastery if you got some Pandaria tailoring. Mastery with the heirloom mana trinket ensures that you will not be oom easily.

Full glass cannon with the int heirloom trinket requires no sitting whatsoever and nothing comes close to the dmg output.

nothing comes close to the dmg output.

keep in mind dmg output is only relevant for solo farming. high DPS is actually inefficient when it comes to looting in a group. you waste too much time traveling from corpse pile to corpse pile. ideally your meat grinder AoE classess land all the killing blows in one spot.

I like my 25 WW Monk - Had to adjust one or 2 Pieces from BfA, Might update it's gear a bit for little bit more HP / Versa. Have a load of TBC Socket Gear to play with.

Edit - I solo farm at the moment, might try grouping with another 25 on my other account and see if it makes any difference to the drops. Having an old ( pre Shadowlands ) 25 means that flying is still unlocked !

The one I'm using for solo is so old flying was still at level 70...

It's a little clunky to coordinate 2+ accounts in some areas but the drops are better for sure. Still trying to find a hyperspawn in aszuna, level 50+ BM monk and a few 25 farming with a statue is just the best I've tried by far.

really depends if you have people to group farm with or not, cause any melee in a group farm is just dead weight.
if you're only going to be solo farming a hunter probably has the up time, but when group farming arcane mages is the best without a doubt.

That higher level character is on the same account as 20 characters? So after expire of sub, that higher level character wont be usable or what happen with that?
