You can fish this one from the Garrison's Fishing Hut at lvl 3. It might take a while and would be a lot easier with tons of people, but I got it in WoD this way.

you should try binding it on 20s. I use mine( very rarely yes but) I use it sometimes to go from bs to st or the other way around on non druids

You fish it up in Northern and cata zones and i think in the garrison. Same thing, but it gets swimspeed.

Since it was necro'd by OP, on topic, I guess I can give my opinion.

It's definitely worth. That amount of gold is pocket change in today's wow economy (back then as well).
If the gold is a lot by your standards, then you could've used the garrison method instead that other people already mentioned.

It has some uses outside of swag, it does provide swim speed afterall.

I paid twice, if not nearly 3 times the amount you did. From a personal seller though, doing it through the garrison method.

Well, if they open that zone to level 10's one of the first quests is to get the fat boy swimming mount for the zone. Either way the turtle is just dope.
