January 11, 2020: The Committee bans competitive use of PEGs.

The Committee announces today that it has completed its review regarding the use of Performance Enhancing Gloves (PEGs) during competitive play.

On January 10, 2020, the Committee received three sepearate reports of competitive gulch games being tainted by the use of PEGs. Video evidence of streamer, Fearthebuns, has been provided to the Committee for review on two separate occasions.

Current PEG technology has allowed players to avoid excessive sweat and slick computer mice, as well as prevent the development of blisters on their hands. While PEGs are unlikely to affect a player's natural skill or game knowledge, they provide heightened stamina during practice and long games. This extends the longevity of both the mind and body's ability to play focused giving an uneven advantage in favor of those using PEGs.

Effective immediately: The Committee will be freezing MMR gains of players that are found playing with PEGs.
Until further notice, the Committee will grant usage of PEGs per an opt in basis to maintain competitive integrity.
(Possible qualifications for PEGs use can be discussed via pm per Discord or XPOff)
