Just to be clarified this is both sides (horde&ally), outstanding class that i see more on horde is Eleshams compared to alliance.
And... 5.3 still better then 5.1-5.2

I had the joy of joining WSG as a lock and facing 6 hunters and being partnered by 5 paladins.
Oh what fun was had.
Needless to say I'm now in the process of rolling a hunter and paladin to see what all the fuss is about

There are not as many around as paladins, hunters and rogues, I think, but I've seen several in the last few days.
They are quite enjoyable.

Prot can still do some great damage, but Arms does more. Both are very viable specs, but unless you are FCing Arms tend to be more helpful for your team

In the melee tree we have the afore mentioned enh shaman and guardian druid accompanied by fury warriors, assasination rogue and perhaps retri paladin aswell.
MM hunters are also rare as they get their key to pvp at level 25.

There are definitely more hunters on the alliance side due to the eyepatch. Most of them are terrible but that doesn't really matter since hunters aren't exactly the worst class atm. I can understand your frustration since it takes much more skill for a lock to beat a hunter than a hunter to beat a lock... on top of that if the hunter opens on you first its pretty much GG. So basically if you want to survive you pretty much have no option other than staying close to a healer so if things start going south you can fear and gtfo. Also running off by yourself as a lock is pretty much suicide so stick with the group coz your life depends on it.
