How to farm timewalking instances

nice tips using a druid to dreamwalk out, gotta try this tonight.

BTW, when does it count as "double instances" using reset ?

Some other method on this thread mentioned it. I can't remember exactly. Look and you'll find it.

Also, I'm not even sure you need Dreamwalk. You can probably just Teleport out of Dungeon (from the icon, not a hearthstone with a CD) but, like I said, I needed something that could queue heals anyway. Oh and Monk teleport is another option but you don't get that at 10.

Something may well have changed with 11.0.7, I was in Timewalking Stratholme Service Entrance trying to farm for Rivendare's sword on my 11 twink, when I logged back in she was back near Chromie in Stormwind. Possibly to do with the fact there was a patch and hence servers being reset?

It's Cata TW this week not Classic TW so this makes sense. Your Strath TW instance is no longer accessible. It's like if you log out in DMF, the event ends and you log back in. I also have toons with the Remix icon with location saying "Shrine of Seven Stars" that will get ported to Org/SW when they login.

I suspect if you didn't log back in until next week (when Classic TW is back) you would still be in Strath TW.

i was ported out of DM gardens where i was trying to get a trinket. last week i had 3 players that stayed in WOTLK TW dungeons and was able to get 3 gossamer trinkets. so it was probably due to the patch or just like in CATA, everything jacked

I'm using Cata TW for this week, I'll pivot back to Classic next week -- but is the Rivendare runeblade actually still good? Wowhead suggests it scales down to 0 damage + heals at 11? I think I have every other warrior drop I want from Strath service entrance.

Actually you can't even enter Stratholme deadside normally till 15 -- a fact that I discovered by trying to sprint in there with my lvl 11 (incidentally -- for Alliance races the Dalaran portal to Dalaran Crater is the closest, unless you're a DK who hasn't done the Legion order hall -- just as Karazahn is the closest for Horde to Deadmines). I had to use a couple of other characters to summon that one back to the Stockades via the summoning stone as it was impossible to walk back out due to the constant display of the Stratholme loading screen and back.

Lol, I had the exact same experience on my lvl 10 fury warrior a couple of weeks ago
I got out of the mess by queuing in the Random Dungeon Finder, and when the dungeon popped I accepted it and was immediately teleported out of the loading screen and into the Random Dungeon. Before that I had first tried the "Character Stuck" feature without luck, and after that contacted a Blizzard GM who claimed he had moved my toon to a safe place, but that was apparently not the case so I was still stuck in the loading screen of Stratholmes service entrance / dead side. Only being summoned away from the blinking loading screen and straight into another dungeon saved my poor toon from becoming a living dead in the loading screen of the undead Stratholme side...
