I stopped standing for what I believe in mainly because it's not worth it anymore. There are far fewer people today that think the way I think about twinking and BG ethics. I could stand on my head butt nekkid yelling and you know, nobody is listening anymore. The new age of twinking is much different. If you can't beat em', join em' right?



I had been playing 70s for 4-5 months and having a blast. A few months ago, a friend of mine asked me to play 19s a little to support another friend. During that time, i started to enjoy 19s a little. I enjoyed it a when there were good, even games, but unfortunately there were issues with 19s still. Hunter infestation and 19 FTP twinks. Getting into a pug with 5 level 19s from the same server with 800-1000 HP and craptastic enchants over and over again, only to face off against 7 alliance hunters kind of puts one in a bad mood. This combined with the whining and attitude of "entitlement" the F2P community exudes, made the choice simple. I was done with 19s, I want to shut whiners up... 2 things, 1 solution... level 19s to 24.

The common justification people use for twinking is that the gear etc. is at least theoretically available to all players.



Starter Edition accounts are limited to level 20, can not use the AH or Trade, and are limited in their Professions.



It should be obvious why 24's have a certain 'odour'.



I am not saying that there aren't any good players with 24's (though I do find it disappointing they somehow think they need to rutch themselves), I am not saying that F2P's are all good players (well duh, but I think I should make myself crystal-clear in this, given these Fora), but I am saying that the common justification for twinking doesn't apply in this case.

now, im going to try to be civil here and hopfully the 24s will too. 20s didn't roll up on the scene to get f2p bis and faceroll the legit f2ps. the last thing we want to see in a BG is a legit f2p and usually we give them gearing advice for next time around. sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. i myself am p2p and have the luxury of rolling a 24 if i wish. but why would i do that? wheres the fun? i left the 19 bracket because of the garbage burst you have to deal with in it, and because of the limitations in gear/enchants this bracket had less burst, thus longer fights, and that made it fun. why anyone would ever enjoy playing anything similar to the current 19 bracket is just ludicrous.





and 24Twink, aka Drayner, whats with your huge attitude change all of a sudden? you pushed and pushed and pushed so hard for the 19 community to prosper during the Ruin migration and had front page posts daily about the 19s bracket and moving forward. what happened to that same ideology? your now seeking to destroy a community that does nothing but help eachother(for the most part) and helping a community of people who just want to get some lulz. and a good portion of that community your helping daily posts in the F2P section and start trouble, and some of the 24s go as far as consistently make toons on Aerie Peak, download our chat addons, and stir up the pot.

I know most of the f2ps 20s will now probably look down at me(and the fact i am an alliance f2p 20 hunter) for trolling 24s but i hope you guys can understand that someones got to put pressure on the mods to have a harsher stance of 24s trolling f2p 20s in the twinkinfo forums overall
