Can a P2P level 20 twink join this community as an equal?

I can make groups and help the F2P community.

You can't invite when you're in a group for dungeons or BGs, so you'd be far more use having both a P2P and F2P account. Also there's no temptation to just buy yourself a load of gear/consumables when you're on a real F2P (you can however boost yourself through dungeons).

That being said, there are P2Pers that are welcome since they adhere to trial restrictions. I, for one, welcome anyone who wants to play with us. It is easier resisting temptation if you roll an f2p account, but as long as you don't grab a bunch of p2p-only gear and enchants and keep your professions at, or below, 100 I don't see a difference.

You'll find the f2p purists, who don't approve of the AH, or similar things... And you'll find the easy going people who don't care what you do as long as it's obtainable. Either way, there will always be people who are unhappy with what you're doing. If you're concerned with what people think of you, I recommend just playing on an actual trial. I play my p2p, and have gotten raged at for using RR, and the AH, but the satisfaction of knowing that I help other people on a daily basis is enough for me to disregard any negative feelings about me being p2p.

The advantage of a F2P account is that you can put in on follow while you boost it with your main account. It's also always there, even if you take a break from endgame or stop paying your subscription. The disadvantages are everything else. Anything obtainable by F2P is F2P. RNG means some people get what they want with minimal effort and others will spend hundreds of hours with no result. Even farming AH will not gaurantee you get what items you want with some of the rarer ones. As far as consumables go though, it's a lot easier buying, or trading, them than it is to constantly drop and relearn professions.

If you plan to keep up the subscription, I'd go with P2P. There are just too many time saving and community benefiting features not to. If you're only casual endgame, or like the idea of boosting yourself on a DK or main on AP, then go F2P.

I am the GM of a Guild for f2p restricted 20s on AP btw.... If you do decide to come, which I hope you do, I welcome you with open arms to the APSF. We provide your enchanting scrolls, armor kits, etc. and will help you gear up in no time.

How would you even Trade the Enchanting Scrolls or Armor Kits?
