How do you farm TW Runeblade of Baron Rivendare

trying to farm timewalking version of Runeblade of Baron Rivendare. But the main problem is most of the random TW dungeon is Dire Maul. Is there a way to get Stratholme more often/directly? There seems to be no way to walk into the Timewalking version of it nor specify a specific dungeon in the dung finder.

The calendar says current rotation last until 18Dec2024 is there any way to speed up b4 that date?

Queue for a random TW-dungeon as usual. Then, when you happen to get into the dungeon you wanna farm, in your case Stratholme, don't exit the dungeon after the run, but do a forced disconnect / Alt-F4 while still inside the dungeon. After 30 minutes has passed you can then log-in again. Your twink will still be in the dungeon and the dungeon will be reset with fresh, unspoiled bosses. From that point on you can just log out normally while still inside the dungeon. In other words: Don't leave the dungeon before you have farmed what you came for. You can even keep farming the TW-dungeon after the TW-period has ended, as long as you don’t leave the dungeon but just log-out inside it! A good idea is to have a way to sell and repair while inside the dungeon – Guild Herald (selling stuff), Auto-Hammer (repairing stuff) and Jeeves (selling and repairing stuff) are nice options.

This. Though we can clear TW dungeons so quickly it may make more sense just to queue as a tank for insta queues and just run as many as you can. LEts say 5 minutes per clear, thats 6 chances of getting the zone you want without logging out.

Also make sure your loot spec is changed to something, like arms, that takes items you dont want out of the pool of possible items.

Is the TW and non TW version of the sword different?
Just talking as in 11 I assume cause each level you go up its going to scale higher.
LVL 11 Normal - ILVL 58, 6 STR, 9 STA, 12 VERS, +4 speed, 34 health regen every 5 seconds, requires level 15.
Level 11 TW .....- ILVL 60, 6 STR, 9 STA, 13 VERS, +4 speed, 34 health regen every 5 seconds, must be level 10 to queue for TW.

So at 11, other than the level required to equip, the only stat difference is +1 vers on the TW version.

Ah so TW gear is better than non TW gear in general?

I believe Stratholme (Normal, non-TW) isn't accessible at 11. Wowhead says minimum level 20. Interestingly, the dungeon journal says "required level 15" for the ilvl 58 gear so maybe it's 15? But the point is you can't get ilvl 58 gear at 11 from Strath normal.

Using accessible Normal dungeons from TBC as an example, the gear (were it accessible) would be ilvl 30 at 11.

At lvl 11, TW gear is ilvl 60, Normal dungeon gear, at least for the earlier expansions, is ilvl 30.

Also, don’t forget weapon dps. Increased ilvl of the same item increases its weapon damage, which results in AP. Funny thing, i found out that crow wing reaper with +3 str gems did less damage, albeit like, less than 1%, than TW runeblade on my 20 dk.

honestly, i have gotten sword twice (once tw once norm) and never the mount. seems to be the game rewards people for what others want XD
Oh I was happy to get the mount. I'd avoided farming it until now. I'm glad I did because I now I have reason to farm Strath (ie for the sword). I'm all about "two birds, one stone" whenever possible. I think it's the only mount before WoD I was missing. It's a ~1% mount so could take hundreds of attempts. I haven't added up RArity across 5 account but I think I'm less than 100 attempts total. I'm pretty happy about it. It was weird I got 2 at once. That's pretty unlikely but also completely useless.

It's just slightly annoying it's minimum level 17 for literally no reason. I'd rather not burn a twink to learn it but I was always going to.

I got >10 Dire Maul pops in a row before seeing 1 other dungeon. Just wondering if everyone is encountering the same issue. The so called 'random' dungeon isn't really that random.

Only got DM today and a ZF. Just kept leaving them and doing quests, cba to carry a group on my 20 that keeps aggroing stuff for the xp

It’s pretty rare, still working on it.
Hard to beat that Crow Reaver with +3 str. I think it can, I have the epic one but it's slightly less.
I need to farm up some https://www.wowhead.com/item=28222/reaver-of-the-infinites?bonus=6710 The stam loss sucks, but the vers should be better than the crit.
3 socket OH looks to be the one you want. Stat stick, the MH calculates the damage for the OH attack (pretty sure)

Someone mentioned that TW Runeblade is even better than the 3x+3str gems gear. Haven't test it myself:
