Imo the ease to jump in and play is the only good thing about templates. It removes any stat customization (boring) and any incentives to actually get a BiS set (gearing is one of the charms of twinking imo).

This template meta resembles hop-in-and-play games like overwatch, where I actually like such a system. But the WoW philosophy should always stay away from homogenization of whatever as it doesn’t belong to the game.

If everyone has it, how is it too busted? If anything it makes it more balanced. Incase a few classes get overtuned, the bombs, shrink rays, way higher health pools, the list goes on, will help balance things out.

In the current state, gear and stats are relatively even. Making the most powerful classes superior. We can only hope for things like having access to high damaging bombs and rocket boots to blast us out of danger, to close that gap.

Woulda been fine if blizzard just took away the template system. But adding all this new profession stuff and revamping items makes it even better if you ask me

It's still +43 on the beta and the PTR.
