Hardest and easiest f2p class to play

Highest skill Floor: any caster
Highest skill Cap: Bdruid/Ele/BM
Lowest skill Floor: Rdruid/Prot war/SV
Lowest skill Cap: Enh/Ret

imo

Ret and Enh have much lower skill caps than warriors and rogues?

Enh has offensive and defensive dispels, an interrupt, offhealing, multiple 'stances' if you will, defensive CD from talents, and a burst sequence. Compare that to a prot warrior. An enh would have triple the binds and cooldowns as a warrior, and yet they have a lower skill cap? I believe you're confusing what skill cap is.

Look I just like playing easy classes to wreck teh nubs. Dont bother me guyz

Edit 1: and also the highest skill cap class is elemental shaman. True story

Edit 2: True stories arent worth arguing with

isnt it cap= how tough it is to maximize your potential and floor= how hard the class is?

The way I thought of it was

lowest skill cap is the lowest potential of classes while being played at the peak
lowest skill floor is the easiest class to play and be decent/good
highest skill floor is hardest class to play and be good
highest skill cap is best potential while playing at the peak

Not sure if that's the right way to look at it but that's how I did.

Lowest skill cap = least effort to reach the cap

Easiest druid hardest gonna hard to choose but I would safe enchantment shaman

Response is in my signature already...

I presume you're referring to the video, not the rant.

What don't you understand? The fact that I haven't played in this bracket for very long, or my opinion of the easiest class to play from my experience of the bracket?

Sorting based on Skill Floor (from lowest to highest):

Hunter
Prot Warrior
RDruid
Prot Paladin
Rogue
Feral Druid
Hpal
Bal Druid
Arms Warrior
Priest
Shameng
Mage
Warlock

Sorting based on Skill Cap (from lowest to highest):

Prot Warrior
Ret Paladin
Arms War
Rogue
Hpal
Feral Druid
Priest
Bal Druid
Prot Paladin
Survival Hunter
Demonology Warlock
Frost Mage
Ele Shameng
BM Hunter

This is still pretty rough (and probably debatable and wrong), but its an estimate, I suppose. I don't know how I would place some of the specs tho.

so are you guys talking about 1v1 situations? because there is a huge difference between 1v1s and bgs, e.g. owlkin.. very easy and strong in 1v1 situations, but way harder in zerg situations, because you have to time your astral communion for mana/haste(otherwise youll go oom while spaming reju), you have tons of cc against melees (root/wild charge) so you can handle out 2 melees at the same time and so on... i wouldnt even think about prot palas having a higher skill cap than owls, lol

edit: you also wont deal dmg if your not able to use astral communion wise
.. or if you think catform is a taboo for owls..

Hardest to play really will be personal, some classes seem natural others a tad less.

Easy to play: (surv) Hunter, (resto, feral) Druid, (prot, holy) Pala
Hard to play: (ench) Shaman, Lock

I'd say all specs/classes are difficult to master, apart from Holy paladins, Prot warriors, Prot paladins, Resto druids.

Remind me if I am missing something, because I probably am.
Now, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against those classes, I have played all of them. it's just my opinion after playing everything.

Mage(I tried all Frost+Arcane+Fire)/ Lock(Mine is destro) / Shaman(Resto+ele, Enhance is kind of fun but simply not viable) <- I had the most fun learning and practicing, I believe the skillcaps for those classes are high, also MoP hunter is not something to be overlooked. The pet utilization with BM takes some experience to master.

Edit: I agree with Mialo and that post covers more :p

Not many people are breaking up the priest specs. Disc seems like the strongest with penance and the no cooldown PWS. Holy and Shadow takes more skill imo. I've seen Izac do some cool stuff with a spec I thought was gimped.

As of 5.2 Easiest class to play is holy pally. Hardest is fire mage.

none of the above.

you're confusing underpowered with hard.
