Hey guys!

We're already experiencing a surge of visitors on Xpoff given the new influx of players showing renewed interest in twinking. @Conq is looking for people to make guides as many of those new players will be in need of guidance.

It looks like 10 twinking is going to pick up fairly quickly now that the prepatch is out. The only down side is that we have no guides for them. I will be updating my Arms warrior guide in the near future, but we need others to make guides for their designated classes (gearing, playstyle, etc).

If you are interested in helping out the next generation of twinks, contact Conq. Put in effort in your guide and he will move your guide to the appropriate section once it's finalized and win a chance of being rewarded the Guide Author badge in this contest.

Also, I'm willing to make a new guide pertaining to level 10 twinks but I don't know on what topic. If you have ideas leave them below!

I'm happy to make a colossal 10 twink guide with tons of info such as gear, LFH spots, Dread Pirate Ring spots, best classes/specs, enchants, leveling spots, what ilvl does and more.
 
Hmm that's sounds like a good start. You might want to check around the forums first to make sure you aren't making duplicates! We already have a fishing guide that handles the competition and lfh. Might be worth observing what happens to the stv competition though. It seems it's been put on hold for now and won't be back for a while!

I remember seing a list of pots/elixirs/buffs obtainable for 10s. Is that still around?

The class tier is definitely a good idea. It allows people to see where their class stands. Might take a bit to datamine that since 7.0 just hit (or maybe I don't play enough hah).

I think it would be a good idea to compile all the relevant information into my thread and then give sources/credit.

I know there is a guide but I have never lost the fishing (done it 6x) so I might form my own guide.

I have every class at 10 so I should be able to get a good idea from that and also @DeLindsay's thread.
 
Very true! Variety is wonderful to have.

Back on twinkinfo I had made a List of Guides thread which was found to be very useful. Is that what you're looking at doing? Would be great. I know Chaps "Guide" thread is there but it doesn't allow us to post in it :/
 
I think I will write my own updated, all-encompassing guide but source information from others, with their permission and linking the sources in my thread.
 
One that I'm working on is how EXACTLY iLvL and Stats work (Instanced PvP) for every single Level 10 Class and Spec since it's different for them all. It's going to take a while but I've been compiling info as quickly as I have the time for. We know the basics but what we don't know is what the Stat Template does for different Rogue Specs as example, as one might have higher AP than another, even with identical Gear.
