ok i stand corrected, @Lateraldrop made me do a double take.

i guess it could work, you spec into https://www.wowhead.com/spell=152261/holy-shield and https://www.wowhead.com/spell=216855/guarded-by-the-light but man you definitely need mana to chest enchant.

edit: wow, you really don't get a lot of abilities as prot as both talents above are passive.

so it looks like a "meh" spec that is very self-centered, easy to play but probably very hard to master.

also, your gearing selection is limited to plate, what a nightmare.

lol why would you spec into https://www.wowhead.com/spell=216869/judgments-of-the-pure when https://www.wowhead.com/spell=216855/guarded-by-the-light is readily available. also no mana to chest enchant.

WE just did this. This thing were you make wild assumptions about a spec you have actually never played.

You remember that 2h weapon u always say accounts for so much healing that makes you so effective? J of P is 180-230 healing that prioritizes injured allies on a 6 sec (-haste reductions; mine is 5.4) cd. That's not counting sader or mastery procs that literally double the healing that it does (mastery effects overall attack power so this scales as well.) It is inarguably better than dumb ass regeneration that you have continually insisted makes up like 20% of your overall healing in BGs.

You don't know shit about this spec, stop asserting yourself.

But that talent is rotating on patch launch, so you might look for a replacement, since change makes it a bit useless..

idk, seems like you are speaking out ur ass. Also, pretty sure "holy" is not the answer to what should I play between prot and guardian since, you know, it isn't even part of the question.
In this case holy tanks very well until 15 or so and then if you know what you are doing you can maintain similar status as a 20.

none of this means anything unless you win.

Obviously. just saying that prot paladin will not MAKE you lose. these specs and this build will not MAKE you lose. If you lose its prolly because you are a bad player.

to clarify, I am not saying that this is an OP talent, or that the spec itself is OP.

If you wanted my opinion on the best talent, it is definitely the silence one. I use that talent most of the time in BGs because it helps with one of prot pala's bigger weaknesses (I do not have the burst to close out healers consistently.)

around 270-400

Understood

maybe.

I still like 59 vers on demand more as you can control who gets it and it stacks twice.

If i played prot i would be at close to 30% vers and try to always keep at lease one -10% on myself.

I could be wrong as this is just my educated guess.

I would personally go for druid on this one since swapping between feral and guardian would require minimal effort, with feral being just fine in itself, and guardian more of a "goofing around" kind of thing, which can be fun I guess.

tanks take 50% increased dmg in pvp so if you dont die immediately in a clash you just become a mana rift for all of your healers

Yup almost impossible to keep up.

Reading this horse shit statements about Prot Palas is very chocking. It's like one of the most powerful classes overall in the bracket. Forget talasite and rock full str/haste gems and u will have a banging time in bgs, duels and dungeons.

You are wrong sorry

Tanking in a pug is a role that is key for keeping scrubs at one place thinking they are saving it while other spots become open for everyone else
