Sure do, Boahn doesnt upgrade either.

Maybe they recently edited it but it says NO upgrades

That thread is PRE-8.1.5 and is not referring to upgrades. It is talking about single source drop BoEs. Those ARE BoEs that drop from a single source. It is confirmed that they drop. It is a good thread for starting to figure out what might upgrade, but it is not talking about upgrades.

Was going to play a 20 balance druid until I realized how low drop rate is for these gloves. Were they always this rare?

They seem to be dropping pretty frequently now tbh. Between 7.3.5 and 8.1.5 I had to do maybe 50 runs for a pair, now its 5.
