Give me your opinion: A WSG Today

Wasn't calling you out, specifically.[...] maybe i come off as hard, but it was never intended to sound mean.

Oh not at all, I know. I'm with ya, I didn't think you were calling me out nor that you were being mean. I just thought you'd find my story interesting and hopefully encouraging, that largely I think people here are being supportive because of human decency, rather than personal affiliation. Cheers!

WTB people complaining about competition to help setup wargames. I expect fast Q pops when skirmishes are out next expansion.

Chile Mae! I think the jaja's have it right. They don't care about winning, they dont care about gearing, they dont care about playing objectively. They play to have fun. It's obvious because their nickname stems from written laughter that they are always typing. Play for fun, thats why games were created. We could all use a little bit more Pura Vida in our lives

Live is Life - Opus - YouTube

Life is win, objective is life, fun is life, winning about the life.

All of our arguments would be at an end if:

1: f2p had their own bracket

2: p2p played fairly.

3: common generosity. If trials take years to fully max out their toons, at least try to avoid buying redic chants off the ah, shitting on them and saying you're better than them. It requires no effort and a p2p can easily exceed stats of a f2p within a day. When it takes us a large chunk of our life.

4: or get out of our bracket completely. We formed this bracket. It would be dead if it weren't for us. So shut your damn mouth. Agree with me, acknowledge me, or gtfo.

Why do we put ourselves through such crap to become bis as a trial? Because we actually take pride in our toons and have patience unlike most of you p2p. We want to show you people that we can be the best we can be without paying out the wazoo.

A well geared p2p stepping into a f2p BG is the equivalence of that guy who snuck into a little kids baseball game on the benchwarmers. They don't belong.

Sorry for being biased. As much as I love playing as a 24 and kicking ass, I despise it and know its completely wrong.

I've done this on my warrior, though I did it on my original account but sticked ot the f2p "rules" or whatever you want to call it.

Yeah. I tried to do it on a f2p account but I just couldnt stand being without a friend list : (

Yea. THis is a raging thread. For sure.
But i can immagine why he rages , it could have been an epic WIN and he would post a SS in the GG thread... And to be Honest the thing albino did wasnt that good ... i cant expect my teamate to drop the flag like that , at least he tries... !

Been lurking and I kind of agree. Imo the right thing to do if feared into a glitch would have been to tell the team you were going to drop it and to get ready to repick. To drop it without any communication, well I can see why people were pissed. That's not morals, that's just silly. That is giving a win away for no reason, they were leading the game and I think anyone would not dispute them having the chance to repick considering they didn't want to play unfairly.

However, personally I would never get so mad over a game that I would roll 24 and make all the really nice people's lives that little bit worse because of one person. Biggie, please please reconsider. You seem like a nice, well respected player, it was a shitty situation but is it really worth that?

It was just one WSG match, just one. Put that in perspective and let it slide.
See my Joke of the day.thread and you will feel better.

Flag dropping seems to have become the new thing to do I guess.Been in 5 matches in 3 days where the "horde" player dropped the flag with less than 2 mins to go .I am just going to operate under the assumption that their IQ and maturity level are both probably close to 5.But that might be a stretch.

antibiotic!
damn now I want to resub my hunt.

OT, my opinion (as I'm here now and as you ask this forum to do so)
-You go out of your way to spite a fellow human being (reason being that someone made you mad).
-This strikes me as a less ethical decision. I hope you find a non destructive outlet for your frustrations.

Personally, if my team was like this (getting GY farmed by 7 alliance 24 twinks, probably for the whole game) I wouldn't drop flag. His team got out of GY and managed to return flag!
If I did drop flag, (most likely not) I would at least let my team get ready to repick and tell them when I drop flag.
(I would drop the flag against objective playing F2P's)
No reason to play fair against 24 twink GY farmers!
Just my opinion.
