It won't be good. You're going to have to get like 80% hit just to keep up with the bad dps.

We'd prefer you not be a brewmaster, but it's okay
Protection Paladins
Holy priests
Sub and Combat rogues
We only need one lock for mc(banish), they do bad dps.
Titan's grip fury warriors

These specs just don't cut it for one reason or another, If you want to learn more check out the gear guide in my sig.
The best dps specs are assassination rogues, hunters and arms warriors
The only tank we are currently accepting is a prot warrior
The best healers are disc priests and resto druids, everything else is decent, and any spec with holy in it's name is bad. We do still accept holy paladins, we'd just prefer something else
 
I'm selling my entire B.Net account. To prevent further alarm, Thirkfifty is the only character I will be keeping.

Correct. Ele shamans can obtain the highest hit and shadow priests can almost match them but have more spellpower. The dps monk part is just what thelse told me. He said he tried it and it was pretty bad dps but we'll have to test it.
And mendil that's great. Everything is viable for pvp, especially gnomes.

So there's a raid this friday. Everybody come out. If we get a lot of people we'll do mc. I think a lot of people don't come because they think we're just gonna do kurrinaxx and then call it quits. If you all show up we can do Mc or at least get a nice enough group together to do rajaxx and beyond. We'd love to see a bunch of you guys there and remember that you don't have to be geared, just level 50 to attend a raid. We really need numbers and I didn't really understand how much of an impact I made my first couple raids just by being there, without even my green dragonscales or trinkets.

The next thing I want to talk about is a holy priest. For aoe heals we have other classes(tranquility, holy radiance) and for things we expect we have prayer of healing + spirit shell from our discipline friends, so they don't really fulfill that niche in the project. I think they could keep up in single target, however. If you're not familiar with how it is in the 50 project, contrary to level 90 content, discipline is a crazy good healing class. They have super spamable flash heals and no real mana issues. Holy as I'm sure you know goes through mana like crazy. If it came down to me healing on my priest, I would choose holy for a few reasons. I would have to take mindbender(for mana) instead of from darkness, comes light, which really throws me off with it's procs. They have nice single target heals even without chakra's. This is due to serendipity (one of my favorite words in the english language by the way). Every two flash heals I cast I get a 40% smaller cast time and mana cost on a greater heal(which has the same base mana cost as a flash heal, but heals more), so I would have a nice rhythm going. Mana issues can probably be fixed by spirit stacking and mindbender. I also just love it. I feel good at this game when I play holy priest.

Tristan and I thought we were on to something(you can get ring enchants and drop the proff and they'll still work) but the recipes are bop and require tbc reps we can't get at 50.

There's a way to get the ring enchants, but I don't think they're BiS for anyone.
 
Well thirk can you keep the enchants after you drop the prof? Because it's not like there's an alternative kind of ring enchant. Speaking of the ring slot, today I realized I made a mistake. I've been pairing underworld band with eye of adaegus. The bis ring is Lorekeeper's ring. Essentially they're the same ring except underworld band has four more stamina and lorekeeper's has four more spirit. The spirit is preferred in our pve setting for most healers. In the healer pvp chardevs you'll see quite a bit of uwb, but I just wanted to inform you all since this affects all of our healers.

Didn't quite get my priest to 50 today and I won't have very much time tomorrow before the raid, but dammit I'll try to get him there. See you all there hopefully. I hope you guys aren't in to black friday and getting trampled to death in walmart. In any case please come out and we can progress.

Guys I really don't see why there's so much adversity towards EU. I do agree they could have given us a bit more warning and such, but that's a minor impoliteness that really doesn't matter. They accredit thirk and <Fifty> so it's not like they're stealing the idea or claiming it for themselves. I also look at this as a bracket and not just our guild. And I've heard some people talk about using our guides and such and that they need to do that for themselves, but I have no problem with my guide being used as long as it's not just blatantly stolen without crediting me. I made that guide for fifty twinks, not just <Fifty> twinks. It's not like the best in slot gear changes in Europe, or that if you log in on a computer in the UK fire mages are suddenly viable. And if so, shouldn't everyone that joins us on US have to make their own gear guide and just keep everything they find out to themselves? Imagine if a shadow priest came to one of our raids with living steel weapon chain and pulled nice dps, then wouldn't tell us how. If we didn't share information Fifty wouldn't be where it is today. It probably wouldn't have gotten to kurinaxx. And they'll still be a learning curve for them. To lash out at them for not having the same fifty experience is stupid. You can't get back those world firsts and experiences, but they'll have their own, and I didn't have that fifty experience, but I'm from America so it's okay I guess. It's no different from someone joining the US project except they have a guild in Europe. I know you all aren't children and can make your own decisions, but that's just my opinion on the matter and I think we should just keep going on with our lives.

I might be a bit late for the Raid tonight, I have to help some family of mine move. I'll try to be here by 6 eastern but I'll post something here if I'm running late. I cannot press this enough that we'll do something new if you guys all try to attend and that anyone 50 is welcome.

I should maybe have asked about permission, tho tbh there isn't anything to ask permission for. I mean, no copyrights what so ever :)
We will never cross each other, all we can do is just help eachother here on forums :)
