According to wowhead, for arms DPS: BoA 2-h axe w/ pyrium weapon chain is better than the epic 2-h axe w/ +70 AP to it.
 
(sunday 29th)

prob about 2 pm ish (eastern) im going to start farming gear for my 50 shaman, anyone can come as long as they dont take any items i want for him. off to take a quick shower before i begin.

why gear another toon when i have the most OP dps already? pure boredem, need something to do, some kind of project to work on. tho i could always farm for gold, im not to my 300k gold goal for MOP yet either, well 2/3 rds of the way there, but farming gold isnt as fun.

be in game in a few, if anyone wants to tag along.
 
3 attempts, 2nd attempt we wiped at like 5k hp left on boss. also only had 8 people for 2nd attempt and 9 for the kill.

we got moam down to sub 100k hp an attempt or 2 as well, with only 9 (2 healers) people, having a 10th would of helped alot

it would be if the hit was to get capped and there were no other options. the chain is also a bug and shouldnt necessarily be relied on

also wowhead seems to be confusing you slightly. take the weights with a large grain of salt, b/c 1) this is 50, not 85 where weights are determined and 2) once you have the hit cap turn off the hit part of the weight (and exp too once you have all you can get) so it stops screwing you up

if you already have the arcanite reaper with a wep chain, or even crusader, then its fine to use. but like i said the weapon chain could be fixed any time now, and crusader is nice but its roughly 1ppm iirc and it will have an even harder time proccing than usual with your white hits missing often whereas treants bane with savagery is a constant ap boost

well then I'll definitely have to work on a 2nd set for when(and if) the pyrium weapon chain gets nerfed. but until then, it looks like this is the best possible setup for arm warriors:

yea it is for now, id just casually start doing DM tribute runs (can even que as tank and walk people through how to do a perfect run and say you need the axe...or grp with people doing this project) for treants bane and gather any other +hit gear you'll need to offset the weapon chain should it ever be fixed - which is highly likely

so durning my shower this morning i remembered enhance shamans needed spell hit cap, so i said screw it and didnt farm any gear today lol

yeah, i was just going to be patient and wait for them to either drop in a dungeon or wait for the auction house to toss them up.
