F2P Upgrade Count

Are you Upgrading your F2P Account?

If you are member of TI please please please! I urge you just not vote on the poll BUT TO PLEASE post here if you are upgrading

I want to know the exact percentage of people that are upgrading. I know there isnt many people on twinkinfo but I just really need to know whos upgrading and who isnt. Try to keep posts of you just saying if your upgrading or not. I need to know the specific people so please POST & VOTE!

This will also help me evaluate whether to upgrade or NOT and it will also help many other F2Ps make the decision seeing as how the bigger percentage is upgrading (or not)

Just need the overall count of everyone who is upgrading, Thank you :)
 
Not upgrading my main (unlinked) F2P account. But I might use my linked F2P a bit more.... maybe.
 
This poll needs an option for "not upgrading because I have an inactive p2p account and don't need to upgrade my starter account"

It depends on what information you're really seeking. If what you want to know is how many TI members will be playing veteran accounts, you would need to take into account those who don't need to upgrade their starter accounts to do so.

if u are going to upgrade/pay ur f2p or p2p acc, choose upgrade option.

if u are not going to upgrade/pay ur f2p or p2p acc, choose not upgrading option.

Well, you're not really "upgrading" a p2p account are you? Plus a bunch of people may have already voted the "wrong" way if you change the options now.

Having said that, as a moderator I am able to reset the poll and add options, if the OP requests it.

if u are not doing anything with ur f2p acc, choose not upgrading or just dont vote.
 
More mounts, pets, tabards, bank slots, larger bags, transmog items, achievements, titles, access to social services like guild, chat, etc...
These things don't make you stronger.

I guess the new heirlooms aren't game breakers at current scaling. Lucky Fishing Hat still gives the most stamina example. Furthermore the non-upgraded, but linked F2Ps will also be able to obtain those.

The maximum reachable skills of any primary professions are only 225 at level 20. The benefits from these are minimal, almost nothing or cosmetic.

So the real question is: will you buy high level enchants from AH and will you apply to your gear, or not? Only this will make you a dirty player. Or did I forget something?

But if the OP's real interest is to know who is going to be playing a veteran account, which it seems to be, then the real question is not whether the trial account gets upgraded, it's who is going to be playing a veteran account, whether it was originally a trial or a lapsed subscribe. Please let the OP answer the question I asked to him.

You are right the question should indeed be "will you be paying on your veteran account which was previously pure f2p" BUT people have common sense and as CripzBlood said if you are paying on a different account then just vote on "not upgrading" I want to know who is upgrading their previous pure(main) f2p account. Overall I don't think anyone is confused by the poll lol

I have a connected account to two paid accounts . I am not upgrading the trial account. I am actually going I let one of the paid accounts lapse that I have to play "Vet 20s".

Good point, now that scaling is "fixed" there might not be much difference. (And some of the really cool potions available have level requirements higher than 20.) Still, be fun to try out things like Free Action Potion and there might be a mixology perk rank increase. Hopefully someone can test and post in [MENTION=18568]Hashbrowns[/MENTION]' thread.

The benefits to upgrading destroy the reasons not to:

1. Competitive edge via enchants and BoAs.

2. Much better bags, all bank slots, join guilds, ect.

3. Scaling so better much wow.
