The "Not upgrading" button is shining!!! =)

I'd still like to point out that, despite what I tried to explain to the OP, this poll is not giving an accurate count of who is going to be playing with Veteran status, which is what he (and I think most of us) really wants to know. It only indicates who is getting to that Veteran status by upgrading their existing accounts. And per the poll I did a year or so ago, the majority (~75%) of the F2P population already had a linked P2P account (active or inactive) so for the majority of the population, there would be no reason to upgrade the F2P account in order to play at Veteran status. Therefore you can expect the numbers shown here to be very different from the reality of who is playing Veteran and who is still playing Starter.

Your right on. It is only voting on who is obtaining veteran status by upgrading their account (altough I thought we were all veteran) and that is exactly what I wanted to know. I realize that "pure f2p" is kinda theoretical now but really the only change in this poll should be the question to "will you upgrade your previous pure f2p account to receive the veteran benefits ?'

meh, kind of pointless now to think that vet would be strong with the force. it's more of an order now which is a number 5 battlechest with a medium slush of pwnership, heirloom fries, and a pet(s) toy(s) to-go. all that i plan on doing with the subway meal is pretty much create, combine, get, and then i'm out to take my leftovers and enjoy the flavors when i get home.

Yes, I know, and I probably wasn't being very clear with what I meant so thank you for pointing it out. What I meant was, for everyone who had their Starter accounts linked, that means that they own a P2P account (whether it was active or not) which means they can create Veteran characters on their P2P account that they already have, and therefore would not need to upgrade their Starter account. Therefore the only people who would be upgrading a Starter account would be A) people who don't have a P2P account already, or B) people who want to upgrade specific characters they already own rather than rerolling.

Take me, for example. I started playing paid WoW the day the game released 10 years ago. I stopped paying at the start of WotLK, and started playing Starters as soon as they became unlimited. My account are linked, so all the things I earned on my Starter are available to my original account, and vice versa. Since I would rather keep my original characters like Kincaide "pure" (on the off chance that they ever reverse their decision about veteran accounts), I will instead be creating new characters under the old inactive P2P account. Therefore in this poll, I would answer that I am not upgrading, but in fact I will be playing Veteran characters for the freseeable future.

I hope the OP doesn't consider this explanation too off-topic.

Might do it only for illusions xD

thats not for u to decide, i think who vote is smart enough to understand this poll.

I know for a fact that at least a few of the people that are "not upgrading" already have upgraded/linked/veteran accounts, so obviously the poll isn't the best.

I really need to clarify my point to this poll. This is meant to ask previous PURE f2ps if they are upgrading THAT account. If you have a seperate account that is already upgraded then that account is in no relation with the question. If you never had a pure f2p but have had a linked f2p to a p2p then this question does not apply to you.

You all keep touting guilds guilds guilds...
Trust me, guilds are not all they are cracked up to be. Most, if not all, are full of high school drama and offer nothing in return for the trouble.

Upgrading and having the option to have 2 sets of gear is awesome. Everyone should be able to have a more enjoyable experience. I mean come on who really gives a $h%t ? Honeybadger doesn't, so why should u? :p

If I understand linked accts i should be able to share the loom tab on my f2p account with another acct i designate for vet toons. if that's right i see no reason to sully my f2p acct. even if i cant share the loom tab across accounts i will likely keep the f2p acct pure as long as it is playable and fun.
