F2P Guide to Shadowruby Band Crafting (An Alternative Way of Obtaining Chaos Crystals)

Amazing discovery, thank you for sharing. At the time of the making of this guide, Timewalking vendors weren't available to F2P players. Truly glad that the annoying parts of F2P twinking are getting a little less annoying.

Glad i could contribute to your amazing guide!

Wanted to add my personal experience with farming for Salvager, it's probably not worth it unless you have a higher level running you through Maw of Souls, and my results with drops was similar to this comment on Wowhead: https://www.wowhead.com/item=140217/boon-of-the-salvager#comments:id=2401826 . After questing through 2 zones, I've seen probably less than 5 salvaged armor drops, and only 1/5 of those drops contained Felslate x15. So, unless you're farming for Legion BoEs, it may just be better to focusing this energy on farming Leystone/Felslate, rather than farming for this shoulder chant

You are correct. If you don't care about reputations, there is no point in wasting 12-15 hours on it. In the guide I mention that the shoulder enchant is unnecessary, but definitely nice to have. In any case, the difference is so minor that grinding reputation specifically for the shoulder enchant is pointless. It's just a nice bonus if you're planning to min/max or grind reps on your 20 in the future.
