F2P can no longer do Battlegrounds

5 hours, i will try queuing with my f2p account... where Lennyw lies... hoping this was a joke, entirely....

Rip all the time i put with my twinks and GG blizzard, you destroy pvp then destroy a whole community.

Not really. Blizzard will experience a subscription decrease, again. As many of 29s will leave.

GG Blizz, have fun. Idk why would i play this game anymore, the activity will die out. So this move is NOT smart.

They screw up PVP then they decrease the number of que pops. Autistic and idiotic is what i have to say.

So there's not enough 29s to support frequent pops, but there's enough 29s to make a dent in sub numbers? Lol
 
I will say most of as will move on to something else then pay . I will give shot to some private server what is not pay-to-win like Molten is.
 
All I know that if this is true, then at least it had been a really fun ride.

Just crossing my fingers that it's not true though. This game / bracket has helped me pass a lot of free time.
 
I'm guessing 'battle.net updated page' > 'what some GM said' and expect this to go live. It's not surprising at all as starters were never intended to be played indefinitely. As well, the battleground experience at 20 is not worthy of an introductory game. It would make sense though to unlock battlegrounds until 20 is reached.

In any case, goodbye to a bad habit. It was so fun way back when it was fun.
 
I figured f2p account should be to try the game and all aspects of it. What's next ? No 5 mam and no professions ?

Yah but F2P has nothing to do with subs... Blizzards lack of content and care for the game as a whole is costing them money, this isn't costing them much at all. I don't even pay for the game anymore and could care less about rolling 20's, heck, people should've seen this coming. People should know by now that blizzard will do anything to kill twinning for the sake of increasing subs and pleasing Engamers
