Added a script to the OP to automate buying the chicken feed
 
What a bad move whoever put it on ownedcore, I feel like there should be an elite TI section like they have on ownedcore for stuff like this :S

it's not hotfixed at all ... still working as of this post

on a side note...has anyone tried my addon? i want feedback! :)
 
How do I start the quest? I've been spamming /cheer and /chicken on chickens in westfall for like 20 mins
 
To start the quest, you need to /chicken ( /cheer won't do anything for without the quest). Sometimes, it takes a long time, and sometimes it happens quick...that's why I have that macro spam it for me. I guess it is possible that they hotfixed the quest itself, but since it's already in one of my guys quest logs it's still there? Idk, someone else will have to test that
 
Clucker doesn't seem to be sharing the quest. I have a 24 on a 2-seater with my level 1 on him. He's not sharing the quest period. I have to keep /chicken spamming (with the macro ofc) and get the quest again. Why?

There is a Donor/MVP/Veteran lounge. Not that you can make people use it, but it is there.

I had this problem when both ppl didn't start with the quest before turning it in the first time. The addon basically fires the next function after an event. In this case, turning in the quest fires the function to share the quest. So, it won't share the cluck quest, until the cluck quest is turned in (that make sense?)

So, the fix would be

1) Get the quest on your lvl 24
2) Manually share the quest
3) Run the /cheer spam macro
4) At this point, you should just need to spam the "interact with target" keybind
5) You should only have to do this the very first time, since the quest will automatically be shared after that

actually, the next guild level is only 2million xp more than the previous all the way up. i went from 11-16 in about 2 hours ... i estimate the total time for just 1 person doing this to be about 20-25 hours ... nothing like the epic rep grinds in the past :)

/reload'ed and did exactly as you said. Still not being shared. I have the items and quest on the 24, manually shared, etc. Followed everything, but it's not sharing regardless. After a few turn ins the chicken stays green but the quest does not appear to be shared. Yes, both clients have the addon enabled.

That is odd ... even without following the steps I laid out, it still works on both my clients....
Is it possible another addon is interfering with it? Try turning them all off except Clucker ... then let me know. I'll try to trouble shoot it from there. I'm really sorry...it works fine for me.

Anyone else trying it having problems?

Addon is working like a charm. Am I correct in having to alt tab to the second account to share the quest manually? Or is the addon supposed to do that as well?
 
no, you shouldn't have to alt tab...it's supposed to automatically do it.

i think i've found the problem, the addon looks for the cluck quest, but only if it's the first quest in your quest log...which it probably won't be

the short term fix is to delete all the quests in your quest sharing toons log except for cluck ... then it will function as it is supposed to
