Edit: Chicago PD is a pretty good series. Ongoing stories evolving and advancing the cast.

Veteran games will be a lot easier to setup if we ever decide to set some up in the future, there seems to be a lot more interest in them. Also there is the added benefit of using battle tags to setup events unlike f2p where you basicly have to do a signup, so annoying btw. I see a bright future for veteran wargames.

I knew before I even created this event that not enough people would show up hell I made a thread before this thread asking how many f2ps would be interested in 10v10s,which there wasn't enough to field both teams in that thread either, the only reason I carried on was for selfish reasons I really wanted these to happen.

The event was related in the f2p discord ... by Chops iirc.
Maybe the event was not enought advertized in the discord ... maybe not ...

But you have to understand that there is a crucial difference between vets and f2p :
The only purpose of vets is PvP ... only that. Getting the best stuff and then stomp other players.

On the other hand, there are many ways to play F2P others than PvP, and not everyone is a PvP fan. Some just like casual fights in BG to have some fun, while some others really like that and wish to take part of that kind of wargames.

Moreover, even if people WANT to be part of wargames, some people CAN'T be in it ... because life is not only playing WoW.
The organisation of this event was a good move, maybe not realised in the best way, but at least something has been done. Imo, we just need a bit more of organisation and communication to make that possible ;)

And Dasha, they remind me of the kind of people who only will PVP, think PVE is a total waste, "ScRiPtEd EnCoUntErZ aRe Ez", yet can barely clear an LFR yet alone a mythic 25.

Too bad you can't pvp at max level anymore without pve gear, because blizzard has braindamage and keeps adding gear that totally destroy the way arenas are played.

Not like some pieces of PVE gear being BiS for PVP is new.

The only thing I think should be BIS in both PVP and PVE are legendaries, tbh. Not that they are even really legendary these days.
