I can sadly admit, that the EU "skill base" is not as great as it was at the time when you excperienced it.
That was in the brightest era of twinking, to be honest. What we call Rampage and we drop some tendrils of drool down at our keyboard.
At the moment the level is a bit lower. But some people remain and does keep the level high, sadly some poeple as myself, ain't got time to dedicate as much as we/I did back in those days. I played to improve instead of having fun, which is why I do not play my druid as much as I used to, cause I find rogue a bit more "entertaining" to drop by and play.
I know I might sound stupid or dumb to most of the "new" twinkers, that doesn't know me from those days, and yes. I do not look smart, or doesn't seem dedicated. But I really am, just having hard time of dedicating.
Usually knew everything about the game, how much % each stat gave for given factors, etc. Bleh.
seems like an apology, cause yeh. I ain't as great as I used to be. (is hard to accept for myself, was number1 FC in EU, and now I'm just that "trolling" moderator, and the TERRIBLE 1v1 ROGUE
)Anyways, from my point of view, of things that I feel matters. I would say US is a bit better, cause they do at least manage to roll a guild, and toss 10v10's. With dedication.

TBH Ovation was not the "top" RvR'r, but he was a very good 1v1'r. and very good in the 2v2,3v3,5v5, and also usually the "star" of our 10v10. He knew his stuff. But he's maybe in my top 10 list of RvR duelers from back in my day. But maybe Number 1 Rogue overall.

While I play in EU, I was born in New Zealand and don't see twinking in terms of EU vs US. You're all Northerners to me The WORLD 19 twinking scene is looking better every day and part of that is due to twinkinfo having more of an EU flavour than ever before. A year ago pwndepot was EU and twinkinfo was US.
In terms of activity and player numbers US Ruin = EU Blackout. The numbers and armory update dates are pretty similar.
US has the edge in premades, there aren't a lot of organised 10v10's on EU atm, Some of the US premades have been together for years.
I don't know about pugs, but EU horde pugs are of a pretty high standard at the moment. EU alliance pugs are like a box of chocolates...
US is streets ahead in FC'ing/Jumps. EU has phonebook, mamey and a few others hopping, leaping and ninjaing around battlegrounds but nobody consistently pulling painaid/bones moves in wsg.
EU edges the US on twink theorycrafting thru legends like tidal, and some good recent stuff from Kore etc, US has thirk and others.
US > EU for twink addons, modding and customising the game.
US > EU for twinkinfo flaming and trolling thanks to throwed, halfbreed/afk etc.
US = EU for twinkinfo for facile 1 line posts.
just my 2 euros / 2 cents...
