End of the f2ps?

Fair enough if 24's were the majority of the bracket then i feel i could relate to what you're saying, but lets face it there really isn't that many 24's as everyone makes out? I personally don't feel it will change the bracket as much as people say, maybe my attitude to 24's will change but i feel that's about it

Well ya never know! Those "F2Ps" are coming around with guild enchants and boas now also so trials may become the minority

OT: this bracket will never die as long as it's free.. The good people may wise up and leave but there will forever be people playing wow if it's for free.

10 dollars a month!

I came in expecting a useless and uninformed QQ post, was not disappoint!

You really got me at

warriors with dancing steel

You deal with an enchant like dancing steel/mongoose/power torrent every day. All of the scaled down proc enchants will be weaker than Crusader. Hunter burst will probably be too high and you'll see some big eviscerates, but these enchants aren't going to be totally gamebreaking.

Most shadow priests can't figure out how to save up orbs and use DP/Mind Blast together, you really think you'll have to consistently worry about 24s lining up burst with procs?

Until it's fixed? Do you actually think Blizzard remotely care about f2ps?

meh not really but they are probably going to try to fix something else and inadvertently help us or something idk

i don't think that chance is going to apply battlegrounds since it would ruin f2p, and what pancake would buy wow when he is only getting GY farmed by some 24's?

I don't understand.
You guys like WoW and twinking and you play for free. So if it becomes less-viable, you'll just move to another game that offers Free to play? Why don't you just buy the game, or at least the first couple expansion (costs like $20) and then pay $15 per month to play the game you enjoy?

I'm not trolling or bashing, but that makes more sense to me than going to play Rift.

Anyone who is mad about being pancaked by 24s will realize that if they simply buy the game they won't get pancaked. If anything, making it harder for F2Ps to do well in BGs is a GREAT move for Blizz. If the F2P subscribes, Blizz wins and if the F2P leaves, Blizz doesn't lose anything.

If they made it easier for an F2P to play, it would encourage them to remain an F2P and then Blizzard definitely doesn't win. Good move on Blizz's part. YET, it must be noted that Blizz didn't do this to hurt F2Ps or help P2Ps. This is a much broader patch that has more to do with the economy and general leveling aspect than twinking.

With 5.4 , some pretty big changes are coming such as :
a p2p can get an enchant no matter the lvl , ( warriors with dancing steel, rogues with mongoose)
this could very well be the end for us 20s . .
For many patches we have survived and been able to hold our own vs 24s and p2ps . .
As hard as it may seem to grasp , we might not be able to stand a chance anymore . .
Feel free to comment on what you plan on playing after ( if f2p wow is unplayable anymore )
Ive noticed some have already started playing Rift since it is now f2p , so will Rift or some other mmo be the new home for us poor f2ps . .
Also i just want to say ive had alot of fun since i started f2p back in cata with all you guys, ive met some pretty skilled and awesome players. It truly has been fun , all the close-call bgs ,and those intense duels in gs and in front of org. . those huge fights for AGM . . the classic struggle for LFH . . all the things weve done , all the memories . . /tear

R.I.P MY FELLOW F2PS

Are there really that many 24s in this bracket now? When I played some 24s a few months before mists dropped, there really weren't that many.

Not really, people exaggerate when they want to complain about something
Yeah, I agree that 24s are OP compared to F2Ps, but I have been taken down by F2Ps in the past. It's not a HUGE advantage like Rogues have against Locks or Mages v Warriors or a pre-mini-nerf Prot Warrior v Anything.

Though, even with scaling 24s are tough to beat as an F2P. That said, there's usually about 80-90% F2Ps in each BG team I've been on in this bracket.

come on lol really - don't u remember cata. I guess ill have to show u part 2 of the video where rets heals are super amazing. also it cant be the end because more ungeared players that don't know how to play will try to play hunter and in cata Hunters>24s if your team has more geared hunters u can win easymode. altho ppl like goblinhood I reckon will come back. but rogues damage is scary and that's also in the next video lol I hope to have it out soon. 5.4 so exciting im not even playin in 5.3 atm altho I already have some footage.

On avg I would say probably around 1/4th of every bg are 24s... Maybe we are getting into different games but 24s are becoming more and more as this bracket goes along

Plus im under the impression there are way more 24 horde twinks than alliance. So maybe horde trials just dont see that many. Anyone remember that old 24 guild from venture co? Or Duo? Or bowflex? Or metro? Bully? Spew?
Honestly though, i think i see less 24's these days, 1-2 per bg is normal. I think they started to peter out in MoP, and as the gear started to scale. Its just not as easy for them to faceroll these days.

Maybe the 24s that played the bracket for the HUGE advantage have moved along and the fewer 24s you see are those that enjoy a good challenge? I was chatting with an old 19 friend a while back and he said that, with the level and gear scaling, a good organized 20 premade can nullify 24s quite easily. Not that the 24s are "bad" but that the only ADVANTAGE now is enchants, which is understandable. Like any other game, regardless of the bracket, comp makes a difference too. When you got 5 pallies, 2 rouges, 2 boomkins, and a hunter... you should win! :)

When I poked my head into the bracket a month or two before Cata ended, I was an horde warlock and I seemed to see more 24s on the alliance side than I did on the horde side.

I am still itching... link me some warlocks @ 24?

R.I.P MY FELLOW F2PS

First of all im hunter.
Second, on f2p i mostly play ally, thus seeing truckload of 24s and premades against me all the time.
Third, a well formed & played f2p premaid will faceroll anything.
Forth and maybe the funniest - im a hunter.

Things got funny way of turning around in this bracket.
