Easiest to gear?

In BfA im planning to make a high level (60,70,79 or 90) to wpvp with against 120s and stuff. Im not looking forward to level it and gearing it. I was wondering in what bracket the gearing would be the easiest. Anyone with reccomandations?
 
a lot of 79 gear is gfed. I would go 91 > 90
60s can be hell to gear depending on spec and rng
70 is just spam raids every week
91 is a mixture of farming M SoO and crafted items so you'll need some gold


none are really easy to gear, depends on what you consider hard. For example I consider qing dungs over and over and over and over on my 60 for gear is literally the worst time I've ever had gearing a twink, but I had a good time gearing my 70s every week so it's really whatever you consider annoying. I started and finished my 79s gear the night before all of it was going to be gfed so it was easy but gfed now so rip. I have never had 90s/91s so I can't say how painful it is but I know @J W L has recently been playing high level brackets like these so maybe he can add a two cents into this

I play every bracket there is. I can tell you now, that farming SOO weekly is going to be a pain: Not to mention the hours of farming charms on timeless isle. If easy is what you're after, 90 wont be it, but it'll definitely be worth it in the end.

70 is extremely easy to gear, and while they are capable of destroying 110s on the PTR, they do not have mastery. So I wouldn't recommend this bracket personally, but like I said, its easy to gear. 79 is just gross for a Wpvp twink, you might as well just go 80 at that point to get gems and stronger gear IMO.

But if I am being real, I've beaten 110s on 59s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 85s, and 90s so far. All of these brackets are great for Wpvp. If I had to suggest any particular level, I'd advise you give 80 a shot.

Edit: I've also dueled 110s with my BIS 19 warlock and got absolutely stomped. I don't encourage you play 19 for this lol

How hard would it be to create 85 twink? Is it just running dragonsoul each weak?

And if choose to go 80, do most of my pieces come from MoP?

Yup! both of the 85s in my sig are 2-5 weeks old and I'd consider them pretty geared. (the shaman is full BIS minus bracer). Its all a matter of RNG really. Both of my 80s are 100% BIS, with ICC25H/RS25H gear: MOP items aren't that great tbh, you want the gem slots :)
 
due to the recent addition of more socket items in 7.3.5, 60 is by far the best for duel/wpvp scaling vs 110s on bfa ptr. stupidly good stats for that level
roll 90 rather than 91 or 99, as they scale better for bfa wpvp (stat scaling is relative to player lvl & none of the 91/99 gear is significant enough to make a major difference vs 90 socket stuff). if you roll 90, farm SoO/ToT now, as the chance of warforged gear & the ability to upgrade those pieces is removed in bfa ptr build.
also, another thing 90s has going for it: the avg player in 90-99 bgs won't be using socket gear, meaning (with most using wod/legion quest gear) their stats will be horrible vs those of a 90 twink w/ gems/chants. same can be said for any of those brackets though -- twinks will be curbstomping lvlers

for ease of gearing, 90 (weekly raids, can use wod prof mats -> easy) > 70 (weekly raids, but some prof items are bis & can be tedious) > 60 (equally tedious profs, dung socket gear via personal loot, some raid drops + lots of fairly-uncommon boes are now bis with bfa scaling)
don't roll a 79 in anticipation of bfa pvp, total waste of time based on their current ptr stats

@Petyr 90s wont be able to upgrade gear in BFA? wat

Im also having a much, much easier time destroying 110s on my 80s than I am my 60s. Not too sure about the whole 60 being best level thing
