i will admit that my creation of alt accounts after my original ban were justified.

Although I was on close watch by the moderators, the reason I was originally permabanned on my main account was because I posted a link to linkedin.com where he stated in his biography that he runs twinkinfo, which generates him x amount of dollars with practically no effort needed by himself. He wasn't happy that I shared this info on here, and he permabanned me. it wasn't until after this that I started making new accounts that repeatedly got banned

Look the only thing I'm trying to achieve in the derailment of this thread is the fact that I'm having people constantly say I banned everyone for 0 reason because I was some delusional maniac when I had tried to be the most black and white moderator and I feel as though that notion is not accurate. Arkant in an infraction that I believe had very little actual weight. However, it was merely a single infraction and I'm still failing to see how I "banned everybody for 0 reason". The entire community had always pissed on the CoC and would act surprised when they got the disciplinary action that was clearly listed for their violation.
Here's the thing. So as you guys know, I go on tour for many months at a time. I'm not so worried about what's going on with 19s when I'm out doing my shit. For the past year up until Warped Tour I had been EXTREMELY lenient in the site (I really hadn't done any moderating... ask Pizza)
While I was on tour Myrm took over.
I had read the current state of the site in my absence and posted about it in the TI staff chat saying that we need to step back up because people are being absolutely horrible towards each other. I had told the TI staff that I was going to go back to enforcing the CoC to the standard that I always had and if ANYONE felt as though I SHOULD NOT for them to simply say something and I would not take a single action. I had messaged Myrm and was not responded to. I had created posts in the staff chat and was not responded to. Reports were not being handled properly which resulted in a more seasoned moderator (me) cleaning up the messes made in the reports section daily by the new moderators whom didn't take the time to read the simple "How to handle reports" guide that Silin wrote in the staff section years ago. I admit to snapping at the new moderators about this telling them that they need to learn how to handle reports and linked them the guide because doubling the work and having someone else handle it is not an efficient way of functioning as a team.
Jamesb called someone a cunt so I gave him an infraction as the CoC clearly stated any insulting language in the form of banter would result in a ban at a minimum.
Sketchbag suggested someone kill themselves so I gave him a temp ban.
I had made a post in 20s section (which was extremely overrun by volatile death threats of people sending pictures of their weapons and calling people cunts left and right) locking down discussion of whom should be BM and showing support in the fact that Myrm had chosen BMs and the staff along with myself were sick of the 30 reports from insults and trolling coming on the subject so I laid down the law and closed threads.
The 19s section was then plastered with Agonist saying moderators destroyed the site with censorship. Then trucks of insults and blame unloaded at my front door with "mocha is hitler and banned me for no reason" yet there is not ONE SINGLE case as far as I'm aware of this ever being true.
If you were in my shoes you would have said "this is bullshit" long ago. I'll admit to being stern with the CoC, but I'm not going to just sit down when I'm constantly being blamed and scapegoated for "banning everybody for 0 reason" when the lack of evidence to support that speaks for itself.
Arkant made a good point about how the CoC had always been up to the interpretation of the moderator. That has always been the case and the moderators had always been considered to be the CoC in addition to the public text that was provided to everyone on the site. Unless you were teasing a moderator and taunting them constantly, you probably never received a single infraction from anyone on this site. If you're spiteful because your homie was banned by me for him posting someone's IRL pictures and every post I see you make is how I'm some delusional maniac whom banned your homie for "zero reason" you're not going to be making this easier for you.
If you sit here and call the admin or his staff delusional, incompetent faggots because they banned your friend, you're probably going to be deemed unfit for the privately owned site.
A lot of this "mocha is hitler" stuff started back when stubs posted valencias irl pictures and his guild mates would create thread after thread against me being moderator after Shane had warned them that if they continue, he'd ban them... And he did. Then more people would be upset that now two of their friends are gone from the site and shit talk shane or myself... I don't care for having "power" over 50 forum accounts on a video game forum. I have 0 desire to control anyone's forum voice... Agonist says I censored the community yet as Arkant had pointed out, I'd give an infraction for someone swearing yet I wouldn't remove the insult from their post. Which is it that you guys wanted? Me to censor someone's post or not? I'm told I censor everyone yet Arkant brings up how I didn't censor the insults and how I didn't do my job in doing so.
I don't have anything against any of you twinkers. I've warmly invited any of you whom may live close to a city I travel to, to join me in coffee or something when i come through. Me posting about my tours on TI and saying "tweet me or message me if you live near by and want to get food" isn't me trying to rub anything in anyone's faces. Video game vendettas to me should simply live in the video game world. I'd warmly meet any of you (Probably be scared you or Stubs would stab me or shoot me or something because you two seem to be angry with me to the point where you would actually do that) All of my social media had been public and I've even added a few people on Facebook whom I know don't like me. The issue with the community is we constantly dehumanize each other as we've never heard our voices, seen our faces, met in person. To most people I'm just a name they're used to seeing on here. To me Stubs comes off as a lunatic whom would murder me over a video game, yet I know he's probably just a chill dude in person. I can't even make a post on this site any more without being bashed or called a tyrant for shit that didn't even occur. I'm constantly blamed for banning everyone for zero reason yet not a single case of that ever happening has ever been presented because it didn't even fucking happen in the first place despite the same 20 of you saying that it's happened "dozens" of times.
I have nothing to gain from the site, I have 0 use for this site. The only reason why I've logged on in the past few days was to try to learn of the credibility in these "dozens" of occurrences of me banning people for 0 reason so I could personally apologize to these people. I want to move on from this trash and focus on more important things.
As I had pointed out, the controversial bans that are constantly being referenced are very justifiably fair.
Almost every single permanent ban I had ever initiated was out of creating multiple accounts or account sharing. Almost every single temporary ban was after many warnings and infractions and smaller shorter bans.
Everyone whom thinks I'm some delusional strict hitler whom thrives on power and order would piss themselves laughing if they ever got to know me in person. I'm 125 lbs and around 5 ft 11. I'm native american and irish. I like spider-man. Avenged sevenfold is my favorite band. I like to wear skinny jeans and combat boots. 99% of the time I'm listening to music and it's Pantera. I'm really damn good at guitar because I had worked my ass off to get there. I like to fill some free time with a few video games and I've never wanted to be the top damage cat... I've always wanted to play support. I was top 1,000 in CoD 3 back in the day as a medic. I'd much rather put in a team effort and win as a team than destroy people (which is why I don't get any amusement from arenas and I only have ever enjoyed WSG) I don't really care about what other people do as I'm too busy just finding enjoyment in improving myself and my creativity. I like to meditate, paint, write poetry, draw, learn, and play with cats. I don't drink any more and I've never done any drugs. I'm from New Hampshire but now I'm living both in LA and in Florida.
With the conclusion of this post and the lack of any evidence brought to me that supports that I had "banned everybody for zero reason" I'm going to bury the hatchet and stop searching. I'm just going to accept that these opinions are based off of 0 factual occurrences and continue doing my thing. If anyone thinks I was wrong for banning Stubs for posting Valencia's irl pictures, Kancer for repeatedly posting naked dudes, Flamer for repeatedly making new accounts, restosexual for repeatedly creating multiple accounts, Yowza for sharing his account with Barb, Nicozy for repeatedly posting prohibited material, my friend Nudge for scamming flamer, then you're entitled to whichever opinion you want, but it's clear that my actions in those permabans were justified and I'm going to stop searching for validity in the opinions that those actions were not.
