I recall there being a thread made here on the 19 forum, with a twink asking for forgiveness after he admitted to ddosing another individual and saying that he would never do it again. That person was meet mostly with positive notions, he received harsh words for his actions sure but most people took his apology as sincere. Even the individuals who were affected by the ddos accepted the issue and said lets get past it. I guess now that there are more names flying around make people take on some sort of civil justice mentality? Or is it some other factor that creates this?
The individuals involved have since to my knowledge participated in wargames together with no issues.
This whole vote to ban certain individuals from playing the twinkcup is not going to work and have further implications than the "pure game" argument. Every single person not in a team with the person benefits from banning them as it weakens other teams and teammates of the individual benefit from voting no.
The community is strong together and some voting thread on TI would in no way reflect the 19 community as a whole considering the ammount of people banned from TI, also anyone can literaly vote, votes will be bought from users/ new accounts will be made to sway it one or the other way.
As for the twink cup itself I can tell you all right now that every single person trying to compete in the twink cup will need to fix vpn solutions and then change IP, even if u have never been ddosed before. There is close to no way in finding out who ddos and anyone at this stage could have your IP thru skype or any number of applications you run. Hell the leadership at TI can see everyones IP right now. So if you take all these actions before the cup in theory it should not matter if people who previously dabbled in DDOS will do it again or if someone not named in this thread do it, there will probably be 0 ways to tell who did it and hopefully they can't find your IP thru your vpn solution. It is really sad that this is what everyone has to do but it is the reality.
DDosing happened last twink cup and was new thing for most twinks and has since been around the bracket in and out, affecting different people. It happens in RBGs and have for years.
Also as HB previously mentioned in the thread, Bisnation did a podcast regarding the subject itself and people who admitted to ddosing. As bad as it is some people considered it a defense mechanism(they hit our fc offline, we have to do the same to win the game) This is in no way the right way to go about it, which is also mentioned in the podcast but perhaps it can give some insight to people who want to know more. You guys can listen to it at

Some user making a poll, gets to word the question himself, only gives out two options and then expects it to be some official poll speaking for the 19 bracket and the twink cup on a website that has banned half the bracket at some point is a bad idea and should not be taken seriously.
My 2 cents.
