Dagger for rogue

I'm looking for a good dagger for my sub rogue but find nothing special... Please help

if you dont have the bop BoA agi dagger, just get one of the 27 or 28 ilvl daggers from ah for weap dam since its main hand, theres not a whole lot of special daggers worth using outside of weapon damage

the only other daggers I can think of are the damage proc ones from rfd and mara purple wing. But yeah you will prob want the boa org ones ( if you have) or a ilvl 28/socket from bfa dungeons.

because scaling doesnt work correctly, tooltips are higher with dagger mh and mastery for outlaw procs on mh auto attack speed, so i went full harm for a meme build ^-^

Are you sure? I thought things like outlaw mastery was normalized like poison procs? As for tool tips I am rpetty sure a moks would be higher in mh then dagger.

I’m at work but I can show screenshots later, it’s similar to the reason the sin or sub artis were better for outlaw than the dreadblades
Edit- I don’t have moks, I was testing with ironfoe, that may be part of the issue

Can't use dfa with daggers as outlaw though, not sure if it has something to do with dispatch requiring swords axes maces fw.

I use 2 socketed BFA daggers all the time when I'm outlaw. We don't have dispatch at 20 and in my tests there is no dps difference between running artifact dagger and artifact sword on a target dummy as outlaw (back before nerf), so I always just run daggers no matter what spec I'm running.

Now it's possible that Death From Above wouldn't work with daggers, but I always run Disarm as outlaw so I don't know.

Do it with Mok or cudgel... there is no other main hand worth testing because theres no other main hand worth using.

Thanks for testing. I confirmed last night with heirloom as well, it is really really close. Kinda of odd. It looks like the sword MH was 1 point of damage higher on a few abilities. I think the mastery free attack was more as well. I don't know if it's just because all weps have a fairly close range at this level or if Blizz is doing something in the background. https://www.wowhead.com/item=156999/mokmorokks-headcracker?bonus=6691 will for sure be more.

yeah it doesn't work with daggers, but if you are going to be using dismantle anyway then its not a big deal. personally I prefer dfa for its use as a pseudo gap closer + it can deal some decent damage.
