EU Current Situation @70

tfw you switch specs/classes right after facing a weaker comp so you can have better games but they don't queue a 2nd time

Fun topic, three giant babies crying to eachother, while pretending to be mature douchebags.
Not gonna lie, you're all arguing over nothing. We have the same argument on US quite a bit as well and trust me; it won't get any of you anywhere. Stop arguing and be better people towards each other. Our bracket is ever shrinking and we can't make it worse by hating the others in our small community.

you don't get it man... I mean if i win/lose to someone in high rated skirms i HAVE to hate, it is a basic rule made by the great lvl 70 ancestors and you better fucking respek that m9

All I can say is give back knockdown, so bad PvP'ers such as myself can still kill everyone in one stun.

Its like rock, paper & scissors. But that gearset just makes an unbalance in the system..
What do you mean by rock paper scissors? It's my impression that generally speaking melee classes are stronger than caster classes at level 70 right now. The toptier classes are like feral, rogue, enh, dk, ww, etc.
I guess you would argue that holy/disc priests are really good but that's probably more because the healer/dps composition is best, and priests happen to be the best of the healers.

Idc what there opinion is, that gear is broken.
Yeah I'm sick of facing casters every time I queue lvl70 skirmish because everyone is just playing FotM cloth sets. Melees don't stand a chance it's ridiculous.

The sp set is definitely strong. Its stronger than most sets at 70, but there are some other really strong sets out there as well (feral sets, hunter lvl 60 set, etc). I think that overall class balance (which includes gear) is best to look at when determining what needs to be fixed.

The only thing that needs fixing is people's attitudes to Best in Slot gear.

There is no point in talking about what class or spec is OP because there won't be balance changes ever, so you just have to deal with it.

Shadow can also be very good if they can cast (emphasis on that). They can do insanely well in bgs and they generally shit on most other casters. The problem for most casters is obviously fighting bursty melee classes though and in 2s its almost impossible to peel for a caster dps.

From an arena perspective, because I don't care about random bgs:

Frost Mage is the only viable caster, and is only viable if the Mage is BiS.

Shadow Priest, Elemental Shaman, Fire&Arcane Mage and Balance Druid are all ''gimmick'' specs, you do not reliably win against good players when playing those specs because they have extremely obvious flaws.

And then there's Warlocks, who don't even exist without BiS, and with BiS they are 'not awful'.
