Nice - I feel like this thread is now my weekend homework
Haha. Check out the Ratebeer.com top 50 or Beeradvocate.com top 100 for a list of top brews to try out. That should keep you occupied for a while.

That's a Czech beer, Štěpán Tmavý Ležák. Only had it once when a friend brought some from Prague, but drinking it again is on my list of things to do if I hopefully manage to visit Prague one day.Yde what beer is this on the photo? Never seen it before lol
I'm from North-Western Germany.Nice spread Yde. Where are you located geographically again? What's the better beers in your area? Ever up for a trade?

I've never tried to send beer with the postal service. Are there any rules on sending alcoholic beverages internationally?
Right now I'm drinking (not LITERALLY) Anniversario Rum. This rum is tasty enough to drink straight with one ice cube.
I'll check out Mephistopheles as I prefer stouts and porters.
Grats on 1k posts. Mephistopheles is very good but pretty boozy (it's like 15-16%). It's not the best stout I've had but very good. Best stout I've had is The Abyss (Deschutes The Abyss - 100 at RateBeer). Not sure if you'd get that in Bawwstin though...that and it's probably sold out as it's limited release once a year.

Nice. I have a great connection in the beer industry so I may be able to grab anything given time - my neighbor is a sales rep and has all kinds of samples and new beers for me - best kind of a neighbor ya?
I looked into shipping booze in the US. It's illegal if not done by a licensed seller. You can ship through some licensed sellers however.
And I've read most overseas shipments of booze are "confiscated" at either customs end. Must be a nice perk.
