Cosmetic helms, yes they do cost real life $$, any chance these will be available for F2P?
Ive never tried buying anything from the pet store for my f2p account but it would be cool if we end up getting this option perhaps.

I like the concept. But i'm doubtful these will be made available to f2p. I've never seen f2ps with bought pets/mounts (who wouldn't want the flying goat...thing...right?).

As of right now, no. Trial accounts do not have access to the store. You need to pay blizzard for the privilege of paying blizzard. However, who knows. With in-game store being implemented in 5.4, we may see some restrictions on trials lift. I wouldn't hold your breath though.

Nope, won't be available. Same thing with mounts and pets from the blizz shop. Even if you have your f2p linked and have bought the blizzshop mounts/pets, you can't use them on your f2p.

Because they've made it so that you can't use anything from the blizz shop on f2p accounts. Even stuff that is BoA like mounts and pets aren't usable.

That's true i hadn't considered it. If they are in fact BoA i dont see why you wouldn't be able to move it over from a p2p account.

Like most of the things available on the in-game store, these xmog helmets look awful. It makes me happier to know I'm playing f2p so that these terrible additions don't even have to register on my radar

Expect this open up down the road. Blizzard is still hemorrhaging subscriptions, which is what led to the unlimited trial in the first place, and now its led to a full on in game store being implemented in 5.4. It's only a matter of time.

Well they're there in the store, 15 bucks each. I can access the store with my F2P account and presumably buy them for the account. They get sent to your mail however so it looks like you might have to try to get a GM to take it out. Either way Im scared to try it.
