Edit: you cant stop shit in pugs theres too many trash cans. But theres also a difference between popping one clutch pot for a game changing repick and popping swiftys on CD to get the nova or a KB. The players who do the later arent even worth mentioning theyre the guys you look at and say "at least hes better than a level 12" twinks USED to be about maximizing a class etc etc its a community now and things have changed. Don't be suprised if you disco ray me and you find yourself 30 deaths in with 10 guys in your gy.

Making rules for pugs in classic is worse than enforcing mirror comps for Twink Cups on retail.

Don't use them then - but don't expect others to abide by your rules because that's what you deem fair.

This feels like a clash of how I remember classic and what retail has become.

Pugs will always be consumable heavy, especially by players that do not premade and do not need to practice positioning.

This will be annoying to premading players, as their pugs are now less mirroring what they may see in premade.

At the end of the day, many of these consumable using players are just private server kids, classic boomers, and retail puglords.

Best to get used to it.

P.s. speed pots are a magic effect in classic and can be dispelled and purged.

It feels like half of the classic twinks don't have a single level 60 making it inefficient to have gold or farm mats, so they come here to moan and bitch and develop a specific rule set for the future.

I'm confused when you imply "We" @saxxon expresses the common use of many of these items live. Can say for certain Flamer, Skeezin, and @HairyTreeMan the humble guy that he is have all used Speedpots, atleast he can humor the community as to why he uses them.

In a Perfect world one would say go download a 3.3.5b Private server client, form 10 mans and wargame without consumables.

The arguement is simple,

Don't use them then - but don't expect others to abide by your rules because that's what you deem fair.

man idk the exact history of these people, but I know all of them are beyond good enough to win without a single speedpot in their bags. I've seen every single person you've listed play on my own team with my own eyeballs.

and ok sure I won't expect people to stop, but they shouldn't expect to get better at the game until they do
