Bloodlust for BGs and BM Pets in 6.2

MilkProtein

Grandfathered
I almost loathe to release this just thinking about it, especially for premades in WSG that already stomp me - fuggin' alliance, and as a disclaimer I'm already going to say sorry if anyone has already posted about something similar to this. Also, I would like to note in the preface that this will work on all PvP levels, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. but I play 20s only so I figured I would post it here - plus the build I propose is a good support class for F2Ps to play. The following post was made on another thread entitled Oh Boy, Check out 6.2 Notes

news for hunters (from Blizzardwatch's hunter columnist, who's on the ptr) :

"A small change, but nice if you're leveling a hunter from scratch: In 6.2 you can tame exotic pets at level 10 (previously was level 69)."

edit: a list of exotic pets by level Here

So after going to that link Guglielmo posted with all the exotic pets it looks like there is a Core Hound by the name of The Kurken on Azuremyst Isle. He is level 12 as you can see and as it turns out Core Hounds can get the ability Ancient Hysteria that's basically Bloodlust.

I believe this will be interesting and might change the meta for premades and could be an extreme game changer for Alterac Valley being able to grind down Bal and Galv super fast. With this change to Beast Masters do you think there could be any other meta changing abilities that could come from the exotic pets we will be able to get?

- Water Striders are only available to those who are panda. Gives Water walking, 5% crit and 10% spell power buff.
- Core hound will give bloodlust and 5% MS buff.
- Worms will give 5% Stats and 3% Versatility buff.

These are the only real note-worthy Exotic pets. Chimera gives MS as well but doesn't give bloodlust. Quilens give 5% crit but Water strider gives water walking and 10% spell power as well.

That leaves out Mortal Strike debuff pets(Carrion Bird, Crocolisk and Scorpid), Haste buff pet (Hyena) and Stamina buff pets (Bears and Goats).

As stated above, Exotic pets are only available to Beast Mastery Hunters and Water Striders are only available if your character is a panda.

Side note: I believe Hysteria is on a 6min cooldown(debuff is 10 minutes). where as Drums are only on a 2 minute cooldown(10 minute debuff).
EDIT: Yes Hysteria does give the same Blood lust debuff that Drums give. Drums and Hysteria will not stack.

Is Drums of Rage an item that people can get? I don't think I've ever been under the effect of it in any BGs I've been in, is it hard to get?

True dat, i failed there!
Still nice that *f2p* could use a similar effect to the drums.

Greetings

id rather have the wyvern for finding stealthies or the water strider for Jesus action

wow, can't wait to get myself a two headed doggy in Azuremyst Ile.

also, that green Chimaera looks good to add in as well.

I might do a Panda to get that water-walking pet. That could seriously be crucial for STV Fishing Extravaganza.

Froststorm Breath - Spell - World of Warcraft

notice there is no range on the ability . only on the effect .

FSB + dash + Move to Location . = basically u can make your pet sprint down tunnel or around a person who gets sapped and it will aoe ppl out.

GG wogues

FSB is channeled (from tooltip), almost 100% sure pet cant move while channeling w/o interrupting cast

if you cant move you can just spam it

breath > move > breath > move

after a quick search on wowhead, it seems (from a very outdated patch4.1 comment) FSB can be used on the move, so your idea should work :D
