It’s very well known that it scales up. Multiple people have scaled it to their level- we just have yet to see it scaled down. If anyone has any luck, keep us posted.


It’s my understanding you cannot scale anything down via GM. If anyone has any evidence of doing this, please PM me.

No- and I’m pretty certain it is impossible for a GM to scale this item down. Just a waiting game to see if someone can pull it, scaled, from a box

Sure we have seen plenty scaled up but we don’t exactly know the method that was used. Was a GM involved or did a leveling rogue get a lucky lockbox? Or maybe Rohh is dropping again. I dont find it likely that somebody finessed a GM for a lvl 42 bvb but havent seen it confirmed.

I swear if someone farms this, and it gets confirmed, I will legit skip every one of my fap breaks to put in that extra time of farming until I get it. Then I'll print out the screenshot and leave the biggest nut on it.

LF someone with lvl 45 fishing to craft me a BvB. I have linen cloth and some copper ore, so no need for mats. Just tell me if you need my arclight spanner. Also I don't tip. Sorry times are tough. I'm sure you understand. If you don't have the cooking recipe, don't even bother.

Kind of the same with me. I get a bit hyped/sad if i see it's bumped. Maybe seeing that someone else got it I'm up to about 66k now been going really slow the latest days. As you can imagine i've been a little burnt out from farming those boxes by now. Still nothing of note a couple of rings here and there and some recipes.

Atm im 3k junkboxes deep in my farm but i have yet to receive a green drop or recipe of any kind

Use my high lvl rogue to pickpocket undeads in the crypts in duskwood. picklock boxes and send tot lvl 19 (priest) to open them.

Seems fine. That's essentially what you wanna do.
Pickpocket > unlock boxes > send to a 19 character > 19 opens them.

It’s base ilvl is 26 (req 21). So no that’s not an instance of scaling down
