Haha warning mean nothing honestly, but yeah I know what you mean. My rogue doesnt need anything from this so to mee its "no big deal" but for other classes yeah Id be pissed haha.

oh well. Did the people that traded items get their old items back? I find it interesting that the "Bug exploitation" was actually a GM making a decision to give me an item....lol

They took my gutterblade too, and its not even exploited.

Trying to obtain mail pants, ticket one I got a reply saying Im stuck with Arc Buckler. Ticket Two reply was I already have an Arc Buckler, if you wish to trade it for another item reply to this response. Ticket 3 was a more aggressive GM. He stated that he looked over my last two tickets and I already have correct answers from the Two GMs, he warned I would get an Acc Warning if I tried again. He ended his message with "Happy twinking". . . . even though I never used the word twink once in my 3 tickets. Im thinking when a GM logs on to do their shift or whatever, they are prompted with a notice board of what to watch out for/known current issues, this might have been pinned to it.

WTF my runic darkblade and glacial stone got taken away?!?!?!? i didnt even do the BFD quest exploit.... this is BSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS fuck this shit i want my 2 wpns back i didnt do shit

I guess it's like the Martin Fury incident, where the GM made a mistake but Blizz expects you to not abuse that situation. Although in this case you could argue that you didn't know about the quest change I guess.

Ive tried asking 3 GMs so far, not going to bother risking it for now.

From my experience of twinking on EU and US, ive noticed in general EU GMs are more 'by the book'

something i have always noticed. 19's with items/profession levels/etc you can't get in US, seems EU twinks seem to get the GMs to grant them.

best GM exploit i saw on a 19 twink was a helm on a screen shot in a BG caught on a EU 19 twink. it was a white with no stats lvl-1 helm, but it had three socket slots and player had a BC head enchant on it.

martin fury shirt used to kill all enemies in a 30 yard raduis. it was nerfed to Martin Fury - Item - World of Warcraft

Player receives Developer item in the mail, one-shots Ulduar

Haha, people losing theyr grandfathered items because GM thinks theyr exploidet or something D:

It has happened in the past that talking a lot about "exploits" (if they where or where not is a matter of opinion) led to quite a few changes in the game, not all of which twinks where happy about when they where implied.

All my twinks with grand fathered items still have them. I did never try to get any unobtainable items through a GM though.

In general it is not a good idea to try this kind of thing. Talking about it widespread on a public forum like this seems to be an even worse idea.
