What is the bis gear right now that I´m able to get for my mage?

I´ve seen a lot of the legion invasion gear on some armories but since that´s gone now what else is there?
I´ve been off WoW since the Legion invasion so i´ve no idea what´s BiS anymore.

There are two cookie wands.

Ahhh poor sweet summer child who doesn't yet know what they've done to pvp...

Short version - in instanced pvp (BGs and arena) - your gear doesn't actually provide stats. Each class/spec has a template defined by blizzard. That template might be 18% crit, 12% haste, and 56 int or something. Thats what you get - even if every piece of gear has crit on it. If you equip something in each slot - you get 100% of that template. If you miss things (say, don't equip a helm) - you don't get that 1/16 of the template. Wands are special in that they count as a 2hander and give 2/16 worth of the template, and still allow you to equip an offhand for a total of 17/16s of the template - which is why wands are always BiS for those that can use them.

Then for each average equipped ilvl above the bracket "standard" (which is whatever ilvl the heirlooms are at max level - so for 10-19 the ilvl standard is 24), you get .1% each stats (from the template). So equipping gear to get you to ilvl 34 means you get 1% extra stats. Thats why the white neck and rings are being used - it doesnt matter that they have no stats, because items don't contribute stats. Their higher item level is all that matters.

Theres also a 5% bonus to primary stat for wearing the right armor type. So an enhance shaman gets 5% extra agility for wearing all mail. Thats also why some higher ilvl cosmetic items aren't used - they don't have an armor type and you would lose that bonus.

Theres a lot more explanation and details in the guide if you're interested. But basically - the only thing that matters is the ilvl of the wand. So every ilvl 25 wand is the exact same.

For instanced PvP stats mean nothing - it's all about iLevel and wearing the correct armor type for your class in each slot.

Encahant your Weapon with Black Magic - it's the only enchant ( I know of ) that still procs in BG's

You still want the Dropped version for World pvp duels and pve! Also... I've been praying so hard to every God and religion for em to change back the ilvl pvp system... and i havnt been the only 1 praying.. so who knows what will happen.

Note that wpvp, duels, and pve don't use the template system. So thats going to be similar to what you remember (elemental force, verse enchants, etc) with only a few minor changes. The new neck go-to enchant is "Mark of the hidden satyr". Spirit got changed to versatility - so theres a few new enchant options that were spirit before. And then of course, new ilvl 25 dungeon drops and ilvl 27 BG crate gear to replace some old gear. Jewelry no longer (usually) has a primary stat - so depending on your class you may want to use old rings that still have int/agi (or the WoD heirloom rings). Theres also no bonus for using the right armor type, so you can mix/match armor as needed.
