I have a question about your Rogue. Why go for the Suntrider Axe / Dagger when they have considerably low iLvL? Wont that nuke your Avg and Template Stats?

Sunstrider Axe is for weapon speed, which makes a bigger difference than any item level increase at this level will.

The dagger is just for ultimate $wag because he has two quest rewards from the same quest.

Okay thanks for the post, I have a question, can I race change and do the quest? Or do I need to make a new rogue?

Engineer's Cloak > Satchel Cloak
Insignia > AGM
Sun-strider Axe > Sinister Scimitar

None of those are obtainable without GM help. Not gonna list every GFd item when talking to a new twink.

Brushwood Blade

Theres been a lot of reports that brushwood blade is actually less damage despite being faster. I don't have access to it, so I can't check.

Get a conversation with a GM today and he (or she) refuse to get me an axe, talking something about: "GMs don't restore items from quests". Like i'm speaking with a wall and not a human.

I talked to a GM today, he/she told me that the only way to get the items is from the Quest, but that if I would do the quest, I could ask a GM to get the second item. Looks like I'll be saving up money to race change to BE, then back to Gnome. zzzzzz.

Probably not worth it, Pitter had his taken away today after receiving it from a GM.

I don't mean to keep coming at you with questions, I'm just so new to all of this so I'm very unaware of what's good or not. In the event that there isn't one on the AH, what should I go for?

The heirloom weapon should be fine honestly. I haven't had a chance to test Brushwood Blade personally, but I hear it isn't as good, even with the slower weapon speed.
